its basically cheaper to convert an A/T to M/T... you just need to buy surplus parts of your car model, you need cable shifter and shift stick, console for M/T, Flywheel, pedal hanger and Manual transmission, just buy brandnew of clutch disc, pressure plates, release and pilot bearing, master and slave clutch plus tubing...

i only recommend this as a last option especially if you are having problems with your A/T but still the best option is to maintain your A/T by replacing it with a surplus A/T which can be bought around 10k to 15k, also it is easier to replace surplus rather that convert.. it also makes your car in its "original" state and therefore maintain its value from manual counterpart

some say po kasi na m/t is fuel efficient compared to a/t and also m/t has more hatak, parang wala po kasi lakas yung a/t palaging ako naiiwan sa highway, if i step on the accelerator too hard at more than 3000 rpm may instances na biglang kakalog yung sasakyan yung tipong parang nageengine brake po, natatakot na po talaga ako sa a/t na to, everytime i use the car hindi nawawala sa isip ko na baka bigla ako tumigil, so i have decided to convert na lang i just need the approval of my father, sir do you a surplus shop that sells m/t of a lancer 93 glxi na mura saka hindi po gano gamit, pwede po ba lagay yung m/t ng lancer el kasi some said that yun daw yung magandang tranny, mga magkano po kaya yung gagastusin, thanks po

it's not worth the hassle and expense imo.

yup you buy AT for convinience, not performance. even if madali nga convert from at to mt.. pero i assure you di mo pa nasasama sa costing ang palit ng ECU!

yes MT and AT EFIs have different ECUs.

kaya its more of a hassle nga to convert an efi AT to MT than a carburated AT to MT.

plus pag nakitang converted yan--since di mo naman pinalitan ang dash mo, lalagpak resale value nyan.

so in the end, benta mo nalang yan, palit to MT ka nalang.

if you want, hanap ka ng same model ng oto mo na manual then trade na lang tapos shoulder na lang expense for both. thats the cheapest way to do it.

pero IMO, its not worth the trouble if your getting everything surplus.... sobrang laki ng gastos...
