hello guys! my ride - a honda civic- vibrates a lot when starting from first gear, i can feel the disk slipping. i surmise that i have worn out clutch disk and/or pressure plate. how much would it cost me if i change both of them. thanks a lot.

tol mas maganda ilahat mo na kasi mahal ang labor pra sa ganyan eh mga P1500 sa shell labor lang yun
clutch disc, pressure plate, release bearing, pilot bearing, clutch fork
yung clutch fork matagal naman daw buhay nun eh yung first four eh sabay sabay nayan...
sakin inabot ako ng 5000k including labor kaso iba ride ko eh mazda gen1
if original lalagay mo ewan ko lang how much aabutin,
daiken exedy japan pinalit ko, ok na, pro may iba pako problema sa tranny huhuhu

forcemajeure ano pa problema sa tranny mo?
mukhang may problema din ang clutch release bearing ko ewan ko lang first time nangyari sa akin to parang may gingiling na bato sa transmission ko pero lahat ng gears ko nag engage tsaka bumabatak, I was wondering kung ano pa dapat i check since mahal nga labor para isang bagsak na lang sa gastos

March 9th, 2008 03:49 PM #7noisy transmissions could be cause by a release bearing na maingay na or the pilot bearing in the flywheel (when applicable)

March 24th, 2008 08:58 AM #10depends where the noise is comming from. either the pressure plate or the bearing lang naman iingay dyan.
Somewhat expected from a rushed car from a first time carmaker
