1st time ko po kasi wala kasi ako idea please help...
Toyota currently uses 2 types of ATF: Type T-IV and WS. use whatever is indicated for your model.
"Using ATF other than what Toyota recommends may cause deterioration in shift quality, locking up of your transmission accompanied by vibration, and ultimately damage the automatic transmission of your vehicle."

i believe ganito ang ginagawa ng iba. example if the owner's manual calls for Dexron III ATF, they will use a cheaper Dexron III ATF or equivalent for flushing, and then use premium Dexron III ATF for refilling. now in your case, you may use a Type T-IV equivalent ATF for flushing, and then use genuine Toyota Type T-IV ATF for refilling.
thank you very much for your time and effort sir
napaka laki ng tulong mo saking first time mag palit ng atf haha!
nagawa ko na kanina naka 7 bottles ako for flushing then 4 bottles from casa na T-IV
thank you again so much sir sana lahat dito sa tsikot kagaya nyo...
God Bless
Mga Sirs, quick query lang.
I have my 2007 Santa Fe's ATF changed last week. It is now at 100,000kms.
Supposed to be eh sa 120,000kms pa.
Do I need to worry? Wala pa naman akong nararamdaman na kakaiba after the ATF change.
mitsubishi spec ATF is also being used by hyundai, SP III
model specific yan sir... the transmission requires specific slippage and traction.
do not use regular dexron III to SP III vehicles,
initially wala ka ma-fefeel but eventually it will cause damage on the rings and other components that would eventually degrade the transmission and mostly likely destroy it.
personal experience ko with SPII/SPIII transmission....
mura lang naman ATF comapred to whole transmission.
a good quality SPIII rated ATF will require an average of 60,000-90,000 kms before change.
Better palitan nyo yung ATF niyo sir to be sure. Pa dialysis kayo para ma drain lahat and use Castrol Transmax Multi Vehicle na ATF. Rated for SPII ng Hyundai at Kia.
Wala pa naman Transmission problem or other problems yong SF so far on its 100,000kms.
So, I believe, on my 40,000kms and 80,000kms eh drain and refill lang din ginawa sa Casa (Hyundai Las Pinas)
