If I'm not mistaken, both Speedyfix and Autotechnika does this. I think they use a machine. It can also be done manually. Just be ready to buy around 18 liters of atf

Had mine done at Autotechnika before.... used up 24L of ATF to completely clean the system. Sulit naman.

The amount of ATF needed depends also on how dirty the system is.

how about the process of AT dialysis? nakakailan friends na nakapagsabi na maganda daw yung process at hindi magasto kasi normal ATF qty lang kelangan

Labor 600
Atf top 1 dexron III..... 8 li consumed. ultrashop is cheapest at 180 per liter. Other shop 200.

Hi, just bought 2nd hand 2000 nissan exalta STA. casa maintained. never into AT, pero since magprapractice wife ko how to drive kaya napilitan. ugali ko kasi pag nabili ng 2nd hand, tune up agad so.. Last week, replaced engine oil(Castrol MAGNATEC 10W-40), vc gasket(Japan replacement), oil seal(distributor), spark plug(NGK), oil filter(VIC), air filter(replacement), fuel filter(VIC) and ATF(MAG1 - Dexron III)... Since new sa akin ang AT, read this forum and dami ko di alam.

What was done when I change my ATF from my mekaniko.
1. drain the ATF(around 4.5 liters of ATF, sinukat namin while draining the ATF) color is light brown and I haven't smell(no idea since new ako in terms of AT) kung amoy sunog or oil
2. remove oil pan(may moisture na and need na lagyan ng gasket maker(gray)
3. remove filter/screen(salaan ng dumi)
4. nilinis ung oil pan(may residue), magnet(may residue), and filter
5. Balik lahat ng parts and refill MAG1 Dexron III 4.5liters.
6. We start the car(on idle), so far ok andar.
7. we shifted the AT from P down to 1(ok rin naman) and naka apak lang ako sa brake kasi check ng mekaniko ko kung may kaibang tunog sa tranny pero wala narinig ung mekaniko ko.
8. then tested on the road and I feel medyo mas gumaan ung takbo as well as sa shifting.

Question:
1. Yung procedure ba ginawa namin is talaga bang na drain ung ATF? I know di naman talaga ma drain lahat, sa tingin nyo mga ilang percent ung na drain?

2. Do I need pa ba pa dialysis?

3. tama ba yung ATF na isinalang ko?

1. Ok naman procedure pero sana pinaadar mo kahit 10 sec lang after ma-drain, may naiwan pa kc sa torque converter mga 30% yun. After 1,000kms palit ka na lang ulit using simple drain and refill.

2. No need na kasi nagawa mo na baba pan at linis filter.

3. See your owners manual or ask nissan casa if tama dexron III but afaik tama lang dex3 sa car mo. But be sure. Mahal rebuild tranny e.
