Cant shift gears on my car

Good day mga sir,

Tanong ko lang po sana kung ano yung possible na sira nung kotse ko. Hindi ko siya makambyo kahit anong gear/reverse pag naka on yung engine. Pag naka off naman yung engine pumapasok siya pag sinusubukan ko. Kaya ginagawa ko i off ko muna yung sasakyan saka ko siya i kakambyo tapos on ulit para nakapasok na siya sa gear. Have to do it everytime na kakambyo ko into any gear. Tsaka napansin ko din pala na pag naka 2nd gear ako kahit na naka full tapak sa clutch tapos pag binitawan ko yung break umaandar siya mag isa kahit di naka bitaw sa clutch, parang automatic. Pati pala nag ddrop yung idling nya ng medyo mababa pag naka gear ako kahit fully pressed ang clutch. Pati matigas din tapakan yung clutch niya unlike sa normal stock cars/sedans.

Btw yung kotse po pala 97' Toyota Corona Exsior. Automatic siya dati then cinonvert sa manual pati change engine. Manual na kasi nung nakuha ko tapos nagkaganito.

Nailusong siya dito lang sa may street namin nung habagat pero saglit lang saka hindi pinasok ng tubig yung loob sir. Mga magkano po kaya estimate nyo pag pinaayos ko to or pag pinapalitan ko yung sa clutch?

the clutch plate is probably temporarily "welded" to the pressure plate and the flywheel. if the car is far from a wall, try placing the transmission in 2 gear while the engine is off, fully depress the clutch pedal and start the engine. this usually breaks the clutch plate free.

Thanks sir! Already tried this pero still experiencing the same problems. Btw, yung clutch parts/assembly po ba is specific to the car's engine or sa car lang?

have the clutch check at the local gas station kung yun ang lculprit dalhin mo na lang sa roosvelt sa tapat ng PMI college may mga clutch specialist doon sa tapat ng Pantranco GI auto supply hanapin mo si Gary, mura lang doon.

Thanks sa info sir! nag hohome service kaya sila? mahirap na po kasi itakbo yung sasakyan eh, Ortigas extension/Pasig area pa ko manggaling.
