okay po kasi what happened is around 2 to 3kph rolling tpos sabay apak sa gas pedal nag screecchhh ung gulong around to 2 to 3 seconds tapos po dirediretso na ung hataw kung panu po gina gawa sa drag racing sa street.. ganun po, not totally smoking the tires na sobrang tagal na may smoke na madami.. they call it hard launch.. sabi kasi ni dad wag daw totally stop tapos sabay bitaw sa clutch dapat daw may play ng konti kasi pag wala daw ma pwepwersa mga system ng car like ung transmission etc... ang concern ko lang po dun po ba sa ginawang pag arangkada eh masisira agad yung car ko? I have no intention of doing it again.. I guess.. hehehe..

well, doing it often will lead to premature parts wearing out or failing totally. You have to remember that the Rio is NOT a racing car nor the parts have been upgraded to take the stress of racing conditions. Even race cars have more frequent checks because of the fact that racing conditions really increase the wear & tear of certain car parts.
Car makers have a number of cars set aside for "journalist" in where a motoring journalist is loaned a car for a few days in exchange for a write up in their publication. These cars experience higher wear & tear because the journalist would push those cars to their limits more often. These cars can rack up enough wear & tear equivalent to ten years in just one year's worth of driving.

Hmmm. Your dad did a jackrabbit start with your car. Anyone can do jackrabbit starts. But not anyone will be willingto pay for premature wear and tear. Besides any potential tranny problems already mentioned. Another very real problem may be premature wear on the timing belt.
