January 7th, 2006 07:18 PM #1Hi, Does anyone here knows how to modify an isuzu bighorn automatic transmission so that it shifts sooner? like by adding additional switches? they have this power button which makes it shift at a much later rpm, maybe someone here knows how to do the opposite.. thanks.

January 7th, 2006 09:07 PM #2i have a bighorn before and im contented with what it has.
if i may ask why do you need to shift it sooner?
if its diesel and automatic then nothing much we can do on instant acceleration.
a gas variant with manual transmission will solve that acceleration especially during overtaking.

January 10th, 2006 08:45 PM #6mga around 2k kng light driving pero pag medyo nagmamadali, umaabot dn ng 3k.. un nagiging prob k is parang d nya mahanap un tamang gear.. it shifts back and forth when running at high speeds.. or may mga times naman na ayaw nya magshift, parang stuck cya dun.. anyway, i usually pressdown hard then release suddenly then press again softly for it to shift... usually it works, pero may times na ayaw..
