if your tranny is:
having a strong jerk from first to second gear
and
pag nasa "D" then naka-tapak sa brake pero may strong noise
na parang gusto ng tumakbo (mas malakas sa noise and jerk ng naka-brake while nasa "R")
mga sign ba ng sirang transmission yan? or worn out?
if yes, pano gagawen? pano aayusin?
or hindi kaya sa differential? what do you think?
thanks a lot...

Dapat naka D4 lagi (Drive-4spd.), kung may overdrive button ka dapat naka-on lagi (it is like the 5th gear) para mas matipid sa gas at mababa ang RPM, on full stops I tend to shift to N (neutral) to save a bit of petrol. Pag -uphill ok na yang D4, pag nahirapan I shift down to 2, pag-downhill naman D4 din then I shift down to 2 to engine brake for slowing down before I apply the brakes.

I noticed your location, tiga Las Pinas ka pala, sa Moonwalk ako lumaki since '72, recommend ko dalhin mo sa Prens Marketing (Auto-Supply bago mag Ayala Alabang along Alabang-Zapote Rd.), honest sila at magaling, hanapin mo si Manny, he used to service my '80 Toyota Liftback and my 1st car an '82 Ford Laser
Good Luck and enjoy your ride!

try also checking your transmission fluid. it may be low, usually, automatic transmission doesnt need overhaul unless it was abused or lack maintenance

Puwede siguro gapang ang wire sa space ng rear hatch lifter/struts papunta sa rear bumper, tapos...
