I originally planned to buy this ordinary VLP, kaya lang dahil sa pa-ibang-iba regulations nila (side by side), at baka later on mag iba na naman ang direction na ipagbawal ang VLP, nadismaya ako. Kaya 'yong budget ko na P10K, ibinili ko na lang ng US Plates. 50 states for $179.99 pang display sa bahay, he he he
Kahit araw-araw mag-iiba ako ng plate ayos.

actually, yung deputy niya ang nagsabi na "side by side" dapat yung vanity plate sa FRONT. nakalimutan ko lang yung name...

mukhang misinformed siya... kasi sa LTO memorandum, sa likod ang kabit ng vanity plates, superimposing on the regular plates. tulad ng commemorative plates na superimposed sa front plates.

para bang hindi pa siya na kakakita ng mga commemorative plates.

in short, out of sync with reality.

I just read from a newspaper that some metro mayors aren't agreeing with MMDA F.Bayani regarding excemption from coloring if the vanity plates... anti-poor daw.

My only reason having this plate is just to have a simple memory of my father who passed away without actually seing/driving the type of car he loves to drive. I will be installing this VLP to this car. I hope my mom would see this in her lifetime, too.

yung contact person and # na nasa website ang tinatawagan ko, si Leda. Toxic mga kausap ko dun, hindi alam sagot sa mga tinatanong ko. Noong nag-apply ako sabi 5 days lang daw yari na, tatlong five days ang nakaraan hindi pa nayari. Oct daw start ng delivery thru their licensed courier. Tumawag ako kahapon, kasisimula pa lang daw ng production, hopefully next week matatanggap ko na.
LTO lacks in responsibility and efficiency.

the first batch of plates are finished but LTO cannot release them wala pa daw yung mga stickers and certificates of ownership.

db, 10K ung bayad sa vanity plates? pag halimbawa po ba na nag-deposit ako ng 5K, considered na reserved na ung name na gusto ko ipalagay? o pag buo na po ung bayad?

Meron nang bagong Comm Plate -- PNP MG. "Exempted daw sa coding" for P2,000 only. Meron akong nakitang nakadisplay sa Rob East (4th flr besides Cinema 8 booth sa may cellfone shops) kanina.. Di ko lang natanong.

SIr Ungas,
First time ko lang po mag-apply ng vanity plates. Madali lang naman mag apply. Download ko lang form nila sa website then submit ko siya sa LTO-East avenue. Mga 1 month din ang waiting time. Nasa akin na yung plate pero di pa nila ni release yung certificate of ownership, send na lang daw nila thru snail mail.

Yan din sabi sa akin ng LTO--pwede na daw gamitin kahit wala pa yung CO at sticker.
