So... they ban trucks on EDSA to decongest EDSA. Then now they will let trucks on EDSA (at certain times?) to decongest C5?

Bad idea if you ask me. EDSA is already traffic almost 24/7.

Just finish the SLEX-NLEX link pronto and enforce traffic (especially PUVs that clog the waiting areas/stops).

We cannot rid traffic but enforcing will help it flow better. Eh sa EDSA nga a lot of the MMDA TEs wait near the Kalayaan Buendia bottleneck to stop coding and small truck ban violators, causing more traffic because the flagged vehicles block the lanes.

kung tanggalin kaya nila coding at small truck ban, para wala ng raket mga mmda na tamad?
dapat kasi di sila (PUJ / PUV org) naglalagay sa mga TE para hinuhuli din sila eh.
mga TE takot sa PUJ / PUV drivers kasi makukuyog sila.

Ideas for EDSA.. Just my thoughts

1. Remove all Jeeps from EDSA (Inner Roads lang dapat)
2. Strict Bus Lane... Only 1 lane so no Overtaking... And no waiting on choke points... Remove all old buses..
3. UV Express and Taxi are exclusive on the 2nd Yellow Lane (lugi kasi Driver and Passenger with Traffic)
4. I love motorcycles but less than 400CC should not be on main highways (most of them are clueless about rules, don't have any safety gear, lack proper lighting and feel that they can swerve anytime and think they are faster than all cars)
5. Electric Bikes and Bicycles should NOT be allowed at all on EDSA
6. 10 Wheelers above should take C5 no Exceptions dapat

Of course proper enforcement of the above is key. Madali sabihin pero if people still do what they want wala rin. Like if private cars use the yellow lane kasi meron sila connection to whoever or some politician or law enforcement agency... useless all the good ideas.

allow these big container vans on public roads, only at night, after 10 pm.
motorcycles and scooters may be allowed, but they should not place themselves between lanes. they should act as if they had four wheels, if they want to be treated as if they had four wheels.
provincial buses should be allowed to take in and take off passengers, only in their terminals. no loading and unloading on the streets along the way. OR, only at certain points, and not on every bus stop.
no waiting on bus stops and jeepney stops. buses, jeepneys, taxis, FX, UV...
