Traffic enforcers should have "proof of competence."

Nadale yung driver namin dati dyan sa Ortigas/Meralco Ave intersection na yan (with my wife and daughter on board). They called me on the cellphone and when i spoke to the traffic enforcer, i asked first (in a kind but firm manner) what the violation was, kung may na-cut ba yung driver namin, kung nag signal naman siya ng maayos, and kung solid line or broken line yung tinawiran niya. Ayun, walang ticket and they were sent off.

Galing ako Medical city that time. I was heading west towards EDSA / Rob Galleria.
Tingin ko three lanes or 3.5 lanes dahil sa shoulder... Medyo matraffic din kasi kaya di ko kita kung ano nangyayari sa harap. Kaya di ko agad nakita yung concrete barrier. Yung barrier is nasa left lane/inner lane hanggan middle lane. So dalawang lane nasakop nya.

Nagsignal naman ako na magright (right blinkers) kasi nga need ko is to go EDSA (baka maligaw ako kung via meralco). Wala naman solid lanes. Wala din painted arrow lanes kung saan ka dapat pumunta (left straight right). So ang assumption ko is yung inner lane is left turn; middle and right lane is for straight. Kaso yung nga may concrete barrier upto the middle lane.

So I guess pag may concrete barrier. The rule is go with the flow.

Labo naman talaga eh. Di naman solid yung guhit sa lanes. Yung concrete barrier lang talaga nakita ko, kaya lipat sa kanan.

Sa mga dumadaan sa ortigas ave going edsa, nakikita nyo ba yung signs before meralco ave crossing telling na yung left most lane and middle lane is for turning left to meralco ave? And warning na lumipat sa right lane kapag going edsa?

alam ko kung nasan ka, dapat di mo na lang pinansin mga buwayang yan. sir wala kang violation dyan kasi 2 lanes(from right) ang pwede gamitn kung kakanan ka papuntang Edsa at 2 lanes (from left) din ang pwede gamtin kung pupunta ka namang Meralco.

Mga Buses at Jeepneys dyan ganun lagi gawain, sisingit na lang sa kanan kapag malapit na sa barrier. Nagkataon lang na lucky day mo at ikaw ang napagtripan. Minsan kasi yung kaway nila parang testing lang kung bibigay ka. hindi dapat pinapansin kapag kumakaway, hayaan mo silang humabol, dun ka na lang huminto at sabihing hindi mo sila nakita. :D

Yep hinuhuli talaga kung mag-left ka from the right side of the concrete barrier. Huli din kung nagstraight ka tapos from the left side of the barrier naman.

The first thing he told the enforcer when opened his window: "anong kalokohan ito"? They let him go soon after. I'm sure he could talk to the MMDA retard that way as he knew he did not do anything wrong, and he also had a direct line to someone at the MMDA in case the MMDA enforcers would continue to give him BS.
