Traffic in BGC

Ako I live in Taguig proper, not BGC. And I work in Makati.

Yung pauwi ko is a nightmare. Buendia flyover and McKinley barely move. So sometimes I take Pasong Tamo Ext--East Service Road-C-5, or Pasong Tamo-Lawton-Bayani Road-C-5, and sometimes even EDSA-Magallanes flyover-SLEX-Sales Bridge-East Service Road-C-5.

In the past, McKinley was fine. You can't drive fast, but it moves. Now, it's at least 40 minutes.

That bad na eh. Less than a year ago, McKinley was still bearable (slow but moving consistently). I already avoid setting meetings and whatevers at The Fort in the early evening just because of the traffic there.

Napalitan na ba ang mga blue boys ng BGC? Puro naka-white na ang bantay sa intersections. Wala na si bad-*$$-automatic-rifle-dude sa Staffhouse bridge sa umaga.

I sometimes just stand along the road near Powerbooks or Krispy Kreme to watch the people and the cars passing by.

Road diggings. And they allowed left turns from McKinley to 5th Ave again.

i always take buendia flyover.. kalayaan.. then right sa BGC.. kahit rush hour ok pa din kesa mag mckinley.. or pag trapik talaga ang paseo.. minsan mas maluwag pa ang ayala.. dinediretso ko na ayala.. then flyover to EDSA then right sa kalayaan.. bihira na ako mag mckinley..

tumaas na talaga ang vehicular volume na dumadaan sa Global City. kahit na private ito, with its own traffic systema and deputized personnel wala pa rin silang magawa sa traffic.....

pero pwede natin gawin yung SMART Tunnel ng Malaysia... Kailan kaya maiisip ng DPWH yun...

Not really underground... it just needs MORE and WIDER roads between EDSA and C5. The current narrow two to four lane roads are not capable anymore to handle the volume of cars passing through the area.

Creepy ba? Hehehe... kung di sumagot sa pangalang Vinj pero yung mama, sa chicks nakatingin, baka si Lowslowbenz naman yun.

Why oh why? They should just let the cars go straight since there are other ways for those who want to get to 5th Ave.

BGC should study their traffic flow and see if they can implement a one way system on some interior roads (like what Makati does).
