Left early for work today. Nadaanan ko yung mga convoy ng National Peace Rally along Q. Blvd/Quiapo and C. Palanca. They were occupying over 50% of the road in some areas.

That was around 6:00 - 6:30a and traffic was starting to slow down. I imagine that it has gotten worse since.

Traffic along Commonwealth was awful this morning.

The closure of Mindanao Avenue probably has something to do with that.

+ the INC "peace rally". Lots of shuttle vans, busses and jeepneys.

surprisingly very light traffic going to the office today.
No one other than devotees seems to be going to areas near the INC rally.
I did see buses parked at the side of roxas boulevard all the way to Baclaran.

the cars were probably having difficulty traversing the rally, hence their in-ability to co-mingle with yours.

I can't help but think yun new DOTR sec Dizon is just trying to make money by suspending the implementation of 100% cashless sa mga expressway. Shakedown sa dalawang conglomerate.

I was once caught in traffic for 4.5 hrs at C5 enroute from the fort to mandaluyong. The cause? Traffic enforcers! They really enforce traffic conditions!

not in traffic, but on our gate.
someone parked her car in front of our gate, preventing us from entering.
at 1 am!
when she appeared, she nonchalantly got into her car and drove away.

This morning lang, our next door neighbor left 1/2 of his car outside his gate fronting a 1 car. 1 trike road. I can only go out one way as there is a pant box on the other. Took 15 minutes to get him to move it in properly as even trikes were having a hard time.

i am wondering,
if they can do 24/7 works, with warm bodies actually working 24/7,
why do we not see this dedication, on regular days of the year?
on my regular routes, i regularly see works that last months, with hardly any worker around as i drive by...

Hmmm maybe these workers are employed somewhere else? Baka holy week no work sila kaya nag extra dyan sa dpwh?

i suspect, they have only limited equipment, and workers, that they shuttle from one jobsite to the other, depending on who is making a ruckus at the slowness of their work.
and, i suspect, government don't make much noise...
