Sometimes doc it's not worth it. I am so thankful my parents IMPOSED that I can only work or study near home. I was offered a job in QC before and my Mom said I am better off staying at home than working that far.
My close friend literally gave up on PH and migrated to Australia because she drove for years from QC to South. That's her reason talaga, traffic made her leave PH haha

if the money is big enough, many things become worth it.
having money to hire a driver helps immensely, if one's travel is arduous.
i have acquaintances who rent dormitories near the workplace. they go home to their farther residences in the weekends.
i know of someones who go home to cavite every day. nakaparada na kotse nila sa workplace before 7 am. uwi sila 3 pm or past 6 pm, to avoid the traffic rush.
Having a driver doesn't change time wasted in traffic kaya I still refuse a lot of travels even if I am not driving kasi I hate sitting in traffic.
Buying a half way house then that's time spent away from your family/home din.
My parents are very much against those, though values nila yun that I grew up with. Iba iba naman nga tayo.
