who knows. may rule kasi or pamahiin diba? don't spend on the "first day" of the year because it would mean puro "labas pera" buong taon mo.

And this belief spreads not just to fil-chi but also to filipinos who want to follow the same practice. =)

I do this but only on Jan 1. Makes me think if I should do this on Chinese new year as well I dropped off my Mom at the mall at ang luwag nga ng daan! I am planning on going grocery pa naman later
