July 8th, 2021 06:14 PM #395Think about it this way. If you spend 1 EXTRA hour in traffic using edsa or C5 Per travel...that makes 2 hours of your life spent in traffic per day.
Thats 8% of your day in traffic.
But wait!
If you figure that you sleep 8 hours a day, that makes you awake for 16 hours a day. 2 hours of that is 12.5% !
So basically you can spend 8% of your workday LIFE in traffic or looking at it another way ----- 12.5% of your workday Awake life in traffic.
If you worked 22 days a week and saved 530 pesos a day by not taking SS3..that would amount to 11,660 pesos a month or roughly 144K per year.
If someone said, hey can i pay you 144k per year but I will take away 12.5% of your waking life...(roughly 46 days a year)...would you take it?
Is 12.5% of your awake life worth 530 bucks?

Kami taga south area, sanay na dyan sa toll fee. Acceptable na sa amin yang 270 to avoid EDSA.
Yung SLEX or Skyway, tinitiis nga namin for its price knowing wala man 10km yun Magallanes to Sucat. For a week at work, it’s almost 1k worth of toll for me. But the time saved driving from Sucat to BGC and back, it’s totally worth it.

I live in the middle of EDSA so it doesn’t make much sense to me, but if you’re from the south and going to the north (or vice versa), the tine savings are definitely worth the toll fee.
