Renewal of drivers license - lost receipt

Guys, ask ko lang medyo different scenario.
Si misis may driver's license na pero nawala at expired na more than 4 years ago. Ngayon, nagpunta kami sa LTO Tayuman kung saan niya kinuha yung license. Ang sabi, wala daw record si misis. Pinapupunta pa kami sa LTO Main sa East Ave para ipull lang ang records at ibalik daw sa Tayuman. magprovide din daw kami ng affidavit of loss para sa lost license.

Sa tingin nyo, ano mas ok?

A) Kumuha na lang ulit ng new student permit then apply for driver's license a month after.
B) File for affidavit of loss, go to LTO East Ave to get records and apply for renewal of driver's license.

Saan mas less hassle? We are both working on weekdays, naglileave lang kami to accomplish this. I think on both options meron na ulit written and hands on exam dahil more than 4 years na hindi narenew license, right?

Guys update lang para sa makaencounter ng same scenario.

Tinawagan ko ang LTO East Avenue office Licensing Division para kuhain yung license number ni misis.
Ang kailangan daw is affidavit of loss (indicate license number sa affidavit), 1 valid ID (1 duplicate copy), at original birth certificate (1 duplicate copy).

Ipakita lang sa Window 1 ng maski saang LTO licensing center at ifollow yung procedure sa typical license renewal.

Kailangan lang pala itawag sa East Ave. office hindi pa magawa ng nakausap ko sa Tayuman branch. Gusto pa ipull namin onsite ang records. Haaayyss yung ibang government employees nga naman o, maski anong linis ng iba, may bulok pa ding napapasama.

Bro CVT, eto yung mall na nasa kanan bago ka lumiko to Taft from EDSA to MOA.

Eto yung malapit sa station ng LRT. Di ko lang alam kung may parking diyan.

The LTO does not give any change for this. If you ask them for change, ang susungit at iipitin pa o papatagalin ang release ng lisensya mo.

Here at LTO Mandaluyong, they round off the license fee to 418.00 php, so in short they charge more than what the LTO charges for license renewal which is 417.63 php. This gives them 37 cents profit per transation, which may be small but if you count in a year, "malaki-laki rin."

May question po ako, new driver ako, nakakuha ako ng OR last July, ung card sa December ko pa daw makukuha, nawawala ngaun ung OR ko, need ko pa bang kumuha ng AOL for the receipt para mkapagdrive ako and ma claim ko ung card ko. Iniisip ko kasi kung aantayin ko nalang mag December para di na ko gagastos pero on idea talaga ako sa process.. Any advice po?
