[Admin 05] ADVISORY: Upgrading, Repair and Rehabilitation of Espana Blvd. (P. Campa to N. Reyes Sts., Sampaloc Manila):
STAGE 1 (May 15 to June 3, 2014):
Quezon City bound along Espana = = Two (2) lanes open
FEU bound = = Lane closed
Center island to be opened to traffic for Quezon City bound vehicles
Quiapo bound along Espana = = Two (2) lanes open
N. Reyes St. Espana bound = = Lane closed
SOUTH BOUND ALTERNATE ROUTES:
> Vehicles from Espana Blvd. to FEU, left turn at A.H. Lacson, right S. H. Loyola, right R. Papa to destination
> Vehicles from Espana Blvd. to Lawton, City Hall, Pier, left turn at A.H. Lacson, right J. Fajardo, left Earnshaw, right Legarda to destination
> Vehicles from Espana Blvd. to Lawton, City Hall, Pier, left turn at A.H. Lacson, straight to Nagtahan Fly-over and Nagtahan Bridge, right Otis to destination
> Vehicles from Espana Blvd. to Lawton, City Hall, Pier, right turn at A.H. Lacson, left Dapitan, left A. Mendoza, straight to Quezon Blvd. to destination
NORTH BOUND ALTERNATE ROUTES:
> Vehicles from Quiapo/Quezon Blvd., right turn at Lerma, straight to Espana to destination
> Vehicles from Quiapo, take Quezon Blvd. service road, right C.M. Recto Avenue, left N. Reyes, right R. Papa, left S.H. Loyola, left P. Noval, right Espana to destination
> Vehicles from Quiapo/Quezon Blvd., straight ahead to C.M. Recto underpass, straight to A. Mendoza, right Laon-laan, right A.H. Lacson to destination

nauna na ako! hehe dito ako nakatira sa area na ito eh! hehehe
as usual, isasabay ng DPWH ang rehabilitation na ito sa pasukan. sana nung march sinimulan na nila para bago mag-june tapos na siya. kung wala pa ngang ginagawa ngayon, traffic na, what more kung may pasok na? kudos to DPWH.

May 15th, 2014 06:38 PM #6medyo alangan kasi yung approval of funds for big projects like this one kaya natataon lagi sa tag-ulan/school season. sana taasan nila yung kalsada, same height ng across UST ng espaÑa blvd. and hopefully maayos yung drainage sa ilalim ng overpass dyan. anlalim eh.
may di maka-move on sa kabilang thread. hehehe

24/7 pala project na yan for 2 months.
hirap matulog nyan yung mga residents along espana, sa ingay ng mga heavy equipts.

ok yan. sana lang may mga naka bantay na enforcers parati para hindi mag traffic.

This morning before 8AM the traffic has spilled onto the Quezon Blvd underpass already.
Because pinoy mentality. Not surprising.
