    ^^ Sana hindi ka malasin archielew.

    Sad, really sad what they re doing. Wala namang mali sa current plates eh, tapos papalitan. Yng mga bago na lang palitan, retain yung dati tapos kapag nanakaw or nawala bago ka na lang apply for the new license plates...

    I'd look on the other side of the coin.

    Uniformity and standardization, additional series / combination ang purpose nila dito,

    with an efficient system on how to get your new plates i think wala naman magiging problema.

    kaso government office / service doesn't know how to define efficiency.

    Implementation of this new LTO money-machine-cum-plate-change scheme will definitely cause headaches. Puwede namang leave old plates as they are and implement this prospectively or give vehicle owners the choice to renew or hold-on to old plates.

    Pero syempre LTO wants to generate as much as they can to recover costs kuno and stash a bit of extra to fatten their pockets. Real fun in the Philippines eh.

    Sana gawin nilang katulad ng sa DFA Passport system. Idedeliver ng courier yung new plates mo para di ka na magpabalik balik sa office nila at pumila ng mahaba.

    Magrerelease pa kaya LTO ng plates sa mga bagong kotse before September? Yung akin kasi purchased last June and conduction sticker pa.

    Same Length but the width is allegedly more by 5mm.

    ===============================

    LTO just keeps on announcing (prattling) this new plate schemes without clarifying the ff issues:

    - What will happen to the existing license letter and number combination of a currently registered vehicle?

    - How and Why is the new plate allegedly good (or valid) for only 5 yrs ?

    LTO's obsession with creating a tamper proof plate is really something. Has any other country ever designed a plate that can't be removed for life?
