new car registration

last nov 2010 i purchased my new subaru impreza bago sabi sakin sa january na nila process yung registration para 2011 na nakalagay sa rehistro, pero until now wala pa..ganon ba talaga katagal mag-process ng rehistro? nasita na kasi ako nahihirapan ako mag-explain sa police..

We have the same problem bro..Up till now my plates are nowhere to be found!
Hingi ka na lang ng PO sheets sa SA mo with different dates of issue para yun papakita mo pag nasita ka. HTH

Ako din, wala pa plates ko.. ano ba sinasabi pag nasisita? Kasi ako, i printed a lot of copies ng delivery receipt ko then different dates.. dami ata kasi talaga bumili ng new car last novermber 2010 til now.. nag promo halos lahat ng dealership.. para ka lang bumibili ng super mahal na cell phone.. (as low as 40K down payment)..

ako last dec din nakabili pero up to now, la pa registration at plate. Natatagalan daw sa CSR (Custom Stock Report). Binigyan na lang ako ng Casa ng Dummy Receipts na iba-iba yung dates.. every two weeks nila ako binibigyan and 2 weeks kada bigay. Luckily di pa naman ako nasisita pero kabado syempre kaya pinipili ko na lang dadaanan ko. Don ako dumadaan sa walang enforcer as much as possible. Problema lang kapag di ko kabisado yung lugar... tsk, tsk, tsk...

so true... buti sana if talking to these traffic enforcers would go smoothly each and everytime we get pulled over for not having our plates. e in the first place hindi naman natin kasalanan na hindi mag tally yung documentations nung customs and manufacturers sa mga units nila, yun daw cause nung delay ng issuance nung CSRs na yan. as i've posted in the other thread, the 3 dealers we've talked said that as long as may CSR na they can easily register vehicles within a week nga e...

Dapat naman maintindihan din iyan ng mga traffic enforcers natin.....

Anyway,- kapag ipinakita mong kahapon mo lang nakuha ang sasakyan (dahil nga marami ka ngang POs na iba't iba ang dates), at tinignan ng TE ang iyong odometer at nakaka- 5TKm ka na,- ano ang iyong isasagot?...

Sabihin mo na lang na diretsong 24 hours ka nang nagmamaneho ng mabilis.....like over 200Km/hr....

Mas mabilis pa mag process ng docs mga grey market dealers? Less than 3 weeks lang nakuha ko na plate and OR/CR ng Starex ko.

Maari,- pero suwerte ka lang siguro bro, - dahil nandiyan na ang CSR(?) ng sasakyan mo... Iyong sa pinsan ko at isang barkada na parehong GS ang kinuha sa Hyundai Dasmarinas,- 4 months na wala pa ring plaka dahil wala pa ang above document... Plus sabi ni Bro.SG,- ka-tie-up nito kasi ang Mitsu Makati,- kaya lalong naging mas magulo ang pagre-rehistro...

still no plates for me.. my SA said baka daw makuha na yung OR/CR ko this week pero yung plates wala pa daw kasi wala pa daw gumagawa ng plaka? Meron bang ganun?

Baka akala ng SA ko magogoyo nya ko..

sabi nung asawa ng officemate ko na taga-LTO, matagal daw talaga ang CSR. 3 weeks to 3 mos daw kaya iba-iba yung dating ng rehistro natin. Mabilis lang daw rehistro kaya in a day. Ang di lang guaranteed ay yung plate and/or sticker pero yung regitration (OR at CR) kaya makuha in a day. So ang problema talaga ay CSR. Sabi nga nung taga-LTO, dapat daw, before ibenta ng casa yung auto, may CSR na para mabilis lang yung registration. within 3 weeks dapat may plate at stickers ka na kung ready na yung CSR... 1 day for the OR/CR, another few days for the plate and stickers...

Sa akin, I bought the car last week of Dec... nakuha lang nila yung CSR nung last week ng Feb (Feb 25). Niregister nila ng 25 then kuha na gad yung plate nung Monday. Yung sticker nakuha ko pa after 1 week...

Unfortunately meron ganun. Ang contract kasi sa paggawa ng plaka ay expired na ilang taon na nakakaraan. Ito ngayon ay binubusisi at kailangan daw ng public bidding.

Kaya ang gumagawa ng plaka ngayon ay pakonti-konti lang kasi baka hindi sya mabayaran.

Only in the pilipins nga! The good news is, I got my plates this morning.. Finally! Konting lambing lang and libre ng lunch sa SA ko, na ayos din..
