ako mas gugustuhin ko na itayo ng government train system kaysa skyway.

Mas malaki pakinabang sa train & less pollution and not as ugly pag skyway.

mas magiging efficient pa sana kung magkakabicycle lane sa gilid ng train.

Parañaque announces road closures for LRT-1 extension works
    By Benjamin Pulta
    September 19, 2022, 4:41 pm

MANILA – The Parañaque City government on Monday announced a partial closure of a portion of Imelda Bridge along Ninoy Aquino Avenue’s northbound side due to construction works in the Light Rail Transit-1 (LRT-1) Cavite Extension Project.

The advisory of the city’s Traffic and Parking Management Office said the closure will be from 10 p.m. on September 20 to 5 a.m. on September 21 and 10 p.m. on September 27 to 5 a.m. on September 28.

The affected dates will see the installation of tracks and overhead catenary system on the viaduct which will require casting of concrete piths and pedestals.

The project will extend LRT-1 by 11.8 kilometers to Cavite from the southernmost existing station in Baclaran, Parañaque and will lengthen the railway from 20 to 28 stations.

LRT-1 was the first rapid transit in Southeast Asia that began operations in 1984, built during the term of President Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr.

The extension is expected to service an estimated 800,000 passengers a day, including commuters near the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

The LRT-1 was previously extended to the Balintawak and Roosevelt stations in Quezon City from Monumento in Caloocan City.

A common station is being planned to loop the LRT-1 to the Metro Rail Transit Lines 3 and 7. (PNA)[LIST=1]

ito quezon avenue to quiapo its time na magka train.

Thats how you make the other obsolete is to give a better competition..
