Over 200 violations recorded on first day of MMDA’s no-contact apprehensions

The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) recorded more than 200 traffic violations Friday on the first day of its re-implementation of the No Contact Apprehension (NCA) Policy.
Ronnie Rivera, NCA Head of Enforcement, confirmed the approximate violations as of 4:00pm in a text message to GMA News.
The MMDA listed 176 traffic violations as of 12 noon.
Fifteen personnel man the desk of the NCA Operations Office in its headquarters in Makati City.
MMDA Chairman Atty. Emerson Carlos said on Friday morning that the No Contact Policy will take effect in Metro Manila's major highways especially in EDSA and C5.
Traffic violators will receive their summons via mail once evidence is clear and can dispute this within seven days.
Fines will then be settled either at the MMDA Main Office or any Metrobank branch.
A central database has been set up between the MMDA and the Land Transportation Office to identify the name, address, and car model of erring motorists. —NB, GMA News
FYI, yung mga gumagamit ng lumang yellow plate with the rizal monument applies sa mga tourist vehicles and airport taxis to name a few.
kahit lumabas na yung rizal series, yung old plain yellow plate applies to major PUVs (regular taxi, public passenger bus, jeep, UV Express, and the like)

maybe its time to put an old plastic plate cover, so old that its not readable by a CCTV. or buy a new car and use conduction sticker as plate, i doubt may database ang mmda ng mga address ng conduction sticker.
speaking of violations, dapa kumpleto yung details ng violation including exact time and place of violations. and operators should have complete logs of who is driving their vehicle at a specific time. kundi operator lang lahat sasagot nyan.

This is an excellent idea by MMDA. Major cities do this and drivers are aware din where the cameras are. Kahit nga overspeeding tiniticketan esp sa NY. may built in speed gun mga camera nila and they'll notify you with the printed speed pa. $80 yata ang fine ng tita ko last year sa NY. Saw the paper that was mailed to her.

Maybe it's time to update your registration address.

tska for example from edsa northbound going to cubao, burado ang lane markings turning right to cubao, hirap malaman kung nag violate ka ba ng yellow lane o hindi...

Yes I see your point. We are in a third world country and third world din ang ugali ng mga tao as lalo sa gobyerno. But very uncommon naman yung kambal plaka and hinuhuli talaga ng ltfrb at PNP mga yun.
But as you posted, more than 200 na ang nahuli and mostly are buses.
And to add, if you have suggestions or complaints sa non contact policy, you can tweet or sms ang MMDA. Let's do our share for the country.
Mas lalo kung manalo si digong and leni [emoji1]
