    Makati traffic rerouted starting Friday for anniversary

    Traffic in parts of Makati City will be rerouted while some main roads will be closed to traffic from Friday to Sunday for the "Sampiro de Makati" grand parade marking the city's 342nd anniversary.

    City Public Safety Department director Hermie San Miguel said both lanes of Makati Avenue from Valdez Street to Kalayaan Avenue will be closed starting 10 a.m. Friday....

    Speaking of Makati. They jumbled up all the stoplight timings this past week so those familiar with the stoplight sequences on Ayala and Paseo de Roxas, be wary as they seem to run on the reverse order from before. :D

    Think of all the traffic enforcers who will lose a large chunk of their income if they can't catch guys "beating the yellow light" anymore? :D
