if I may ask also, a van(surplus) assembled in bulacan(all docs obtained points to bulacan like the vendor of the surplus machine and chassis). is it possible that this vehicle be registered in tawi-tawi w/o it ever being brought to tawi-tawi for inspection? it is a very delapidated motor vehicle and obviously will not pass the MVIR procedure anywhere in LUZON, VISAYAS and MINDANAW except TAWITAWI. Is this really possible in TAWI-TAWI? And this is a previously right-hand drive vehicle, will it be considered safe if the van sliding door is on the left-side?

*bbb why would you want to ride a dilapidated van moreso have it registered if you think it's unsafe????

Tama si RedHotBlood. Renewal ng registration, pwede mo gawin kahit saan. Meron nga lang change venue fee - P100 yata dati. Sa change engine, i think kailangan nila yong original LTO documents when the vehicle was first registered which is usually nandun sa original registration branch. Kaya kailangan mo doon i-process yong engine change.

It is possible but very ILLEGAL since by law kailangan yong physical vehicle for inspection. I don't even know na what's illegal in Luzon, Visayas & Mindanao is legal in Tawi-tawi - since i believe yong LTO laws applies to the whole of Philippines.
There must be a reason bakit hindi ito papasa sa MVIR inspection, and the MVIR inspection is there mainly for your own safety, your passengers and your fellow motorists.

hindi po ako kase expert nuon..parang bumili lang ako ng laptop...basta umaandar yung sasakyan ok na sa akin...I even hired their driver to deliver it to me in the province...pagkadeliver, nasiraan na kaaagad....at sunod-sunod pa sira...una yung shock absorber, then yung metal hose ng brake fluid, then yung aircon, then yung propeller sa ilalim(iniwelding pala hindi yung original construction tapos tabingi pa buti sa kung straight muntik na kami mamatay dahil humiwalay na yung propeller sa engine), tapos bumigay na rin yung radiator, tapos nanakaw yung mga side mirrors, na vandalized yung pintura, then bumigay yung makina, not to mention na parating nasisira yung hose ng break fluid, tapos ipinagawa ko na ng todo-todo para wala na yung sunod-sunod na problema, akalain mo, gumastos ako ng Php130k para maubos problema, nagamit ng 2 months, tapos hinuli kami ng LIMBAS, na sinabi may problem sa pagkaka-rehistro ng sasakyan...hanggang ngayon di ko na nabawi yung sasakyan dahil ayaw i-release mg LIMBAS, after all my efforts at pagkagastosan ng almost Php250k, nauwi sa wala

with 250k you could buy a 2nd hand van in a very good running condition here in manila. I feel sorry with your experience bro pati yung nagbenta sayo di naging tapat about your registration.
