Poked a hole in my windshield tint and requested for a replacement Autosweep RFID. They sent me a notification earlier that I've been using my card too much. My Easytrip is installed on the headlight beside the school/village RFID.

Went up to Baguio over the weekend. Autosweep failed only once on Skyway Stage 3 NB. No problems on both in succeeding booths.

On the topic of using just one RFID sticker for both EasyTrip and AutoSweep systems, I just got off the phone with an EasyTrip agent and they confirmed that I can continue to use my AutoSweep RFID tag in their system, indefinitely.

I registered this AutoSweep tag on EasyTrip's system earlier this year.

So, is EasyTrip no longer allowing this registration? It's funny because they still have it up in their FAQ.

New fines for lack of tollway RFID and insufficient load deferred to October 1, 2024 | TopGear PH

“We hope the concerned agencies and tollway operators would use the 30-day deferment to fine-tune expressway operations and further intensify the public information campaign to enable tollway users to comply with the new guidelines,” Bautista said.

Did a quick overnight food trip to Pampanga over the weekend.

Autosweep - Stage 3 - passed by 1 scanner only - it worked!
Easytrip - worked 2 times only (Balintawak northbound and Bocaue southbound)

Both RFIDs were installed on our headlight, Autosweep is a month old, Easytrip is less than a week old.

Big plus for Easytrip that they have card scanners that you can use if they cannot read your RFID - just find it annoying that even the card scanner at Mexico was not working last Saturday.

IMO, Autosweep should also intall QR Code readers as a second option for motorists if their RFID readers fail... that way, we don't need to wait for their staff to manually scan our cards.

RFIDs on my daily are over 3 years old (installed during pandemic) and I've only ever had to bring out the card to get scanned once.

Autosweep installed on the windshield (3M color-stable tint), Easytrip on passenger headlight.

I prefer to have it inside on the windshield so the sticker is not out in the elements. Bonus points for not messing up the looks of the headlight.

if you really want to minimize queueing at the toll booths,
make each toll booth cash-capable and card-capable.
