if we were more strict with our plate numbers, we wouldn't need this rfid.
hey, any electronic gadget in existence (rf reader) can be duplicated in raon or in greenhills. anyone who's creative enough can assemble it to read anyone's rfid and get to know any and all information about the car. including engine and chassis numbers...
don't i wish they'd instead spend more time arresting HIDs that blind at night, vehicles with all colors of lights except red at the back, vehicles without lights at night, black and decker motorized dipadjaks blocking fast traffic along major roads, vehicles spewing black exhaust (no need to test; it's so obvious), and red plate govt vehicles in the malls on weekends! pera natin yan! how dare they...

I agree with you, they are so ignorant I wanna kick their faces with a sweet chin music..
They should fix their Human resources first; their SOP second; and the benefits of their employees before this to prevent those people from corruption

    My take:

    1) NO. NO. NO. For Privacy reasons. I'm not a fan of gov't harrasment.

    2) NO. NO. NO. Obviously, this is another lame brain scheme to raise money for the coming elections.

    3) NO. NO. NO. P 350.00 is a rip off! I heard the same RFID tags cost only USD 0.10 (approx P 4.80) in the states. Grabe profit margin nila. Someone's getting rich very very fast.

    4) NO. NO. NO. Why not just make it voluntary? Yung bilib sa mga binibigay na dahilan ni LOMIBAO of LTO, et. al. eh di sila na lang ang gumastos at magpakabit ng RFID tag sa auto nila. Basta yung ayaw, katulad ko, huwag pilitin. The LTO argues it's for our own good, well I don't buy it. I know what's best for myself without gov't telling me so, thank you very much.

    5) NO. NO. NO. The best business in the whole f***ing planet is to be in gov't. Where else do you see a (business) venture where you don't need any capital to start it. Where every citizen (and sometimes even non-citizens) is your client, voluntarily or otherwise. Where you can be insolvent and yet you cannot be dissolved. Where you can make the rules, change the rules midway if it does not suit you, and then enforce the rules. I could go on and on... Haayyy.... Tama Na Sobra Na, Palitan Na!

I had my car registered last September pa. October na wala pa yung OR/CR and license plate ko. Baka they're trying to find a way to shove that RFID tag down my throat. NO TO RFID!
