August 13th, 2021 01:01 PM #11according to autoindustriya.com,
there are only 11 such accredited facilities for the all of NCR.
they are also voicing their apprehensions.
when i had my vehicle tested a couple of months ago in the usual facility at 8 am, i was advised to take a number and to come back the next day...

PETCs are now closed in areas of least reaistance, the provinces. Trickled deactivation. PMVICs are now the lone option there. Looks like the major cities, where resistance is expected, will be the last to have PETCs taken out.
Good stealth planning.[emoji897][emoji897][emoji897][emoji897]

PETC deactivation done in areas w/ relatively low public transport density. Negros Oriental is 1 such place. Duma has trikes as cabs & more motorbikes than cars for private commute.
PMVICs will be forced upon us by whatever means. The 'delta' of the post-backtrack plan is now in effect.[emoji897]

some solutions I can think of if you do not want your car inspected...
1. buy a new car - registration not required for the next 3 years
2. register your car as a taxi -> PUVs are not required for inspection
3. commute
the Du30 admin is almost gone and I'm sure the next admin will still proceed with the required inspection.

August 13th, 2021 06:39 PM #18if ncr has 1,460,000 motor vehicles,
that's 121,600 vehicles for renewal of registration a month,
or 6,080 vehicles in 20 working days a month for each of the authorized eleven MVIS facilities.
that's 552 MVIS tests per day per mvis facility,
or 61 vehicles tested an hour per facility.
...talo pa siguro ang pila sa araneta on pba championship day.
sa araneta kasi, isang araw lang ang pila.Last edited by dr. d; August 13th, 2021 at 06:45 PM.
