Been driving for around 14 months na. Got a ticket for the first time in Makati. Kasalanan ko talaga at sobrang kabobohan. The violation is passing thru a red light. So next week, tutubusin ko yung license sa Makati City Hall.

Is there anything important to consider/remember? Tips to make the experience as hassle-free as possible?

Can I drive with the ticket/without a license for the meantime?

Anything in general you'd want to comment on?

just pay the ticket within the grace period.
yes, you can still drive within the grace period.
xerox the resibo, because some resibos fade over time. keep the xerox copy with your license, justin case..

Next time pakiramdaman mo ung huhuli sayo, kung gusto kang tiketan, perahan or pwede pakiusapan, at kung pwede ka pumalag kung hindi visible ung mga signage or hindi clear ang nagawa mong violation.

Pero mas ok na din sa unang bungad ay akuin mo ung fault mo, naaawa din ang mga yan at pag-sasabihan kang nxt time mag-ingat.

Pero pag sa makati or pasay ka nahuli, ung mga TE dyan ay walang patawad.

When you pay your fine and redeem your license. Make sure to file the receipt or proof of settlement in case problems come out later on (i.e. hindi na reflect na settled na yung violation).

Agree! Ginagawa ko diyan staple yun receipt sa OR ng kotse, para pag renew at hinde nag reflect dala ko na receipt

sa makati city hall ba tubos or sa MAPSA office malapit sa Buendia? same experienced din ako twice na sa ayala at paseo. Ewan ko ba sa Makati bakit walang time remaining yung mga stop lights tapos ang bolis pa ng pagpalit from orange to red.

Sa Makati, stop ako agad lagi basta mag yellow (especially sa Paseo cor. Buendia, and Ayala beside Rustans going towards EDSA). Pag ikaw ang nagiisang kotse or last to cross pag red, ikaw ang huli.

Sa may Mayapis st (parallel to buendia) ako tumubos ng lisensya ko about 3 years ago. Not sure kung dun pa rin ngayon

yes sa mayapis pa din ang tubusan.. medyo mahirap parking don.. so wag ka na magdala nang sasakyan.. taxi ka na lang..

Pwede mag park sa cash and carry or SM sa buendia the. Mag tricycle na lang kayo papunta, SM liber parking pwede rin lakarin na from there

May seminar pa ba for "passing thru red light" na violation?

Iniisip ko kasi kung kailangan ko mag-leave from work at kung pwedeng half-day leave or kailangan whole day?

Anong pinaka-maagang time na pwede kong simulan kunin yung lisensya ko? (para makatapos na din ng maaga)
