For your reference:

We consulted IBP and PAO earlier, ito po mga sinabi nila:

1. On damage to property, if a minor committed an action in conflict with the law the parents will be held liable to pay for the damages.

2. The parents can be absolve if they prove that they exercised the diligence of a good father of a family.

The parents shall be liable for damages unless they prove, to the satisfaction of the court, that they were exercising reasonable supervision over the child at the time the child committed the offense and exerted reasonable effort and at most diligence to prevent or discourage the child from committing another offense.
