i learned MT there. and if one knows bump cars at the perya, then AT comes "naturally" to those already comfortable with MT.
LTO accredited doesn't mean much, as driving school isn't even a requirement to take the driving license exams. but "there are perks..."

it would be nice if one already had his car. that way, he can choose from among the stable of the driving school's cars, that which is most similar to his car.
How about Smart Driving School? As per checking, isa sila sa top driving school dito sa pinas. Dyan ko kasi balak magenroll.

Ano po yung "perks" sa pagenroll ng driving school aside from their usual promo na free petron card I guess?

Smart driving school offers "assistance" (hint: fixer) in getting LTO license.

Antay na for the license.

Pwede na daw 15 hrs if you have your own car kasi makakapagpractice ka. That's 1k per hr (last year). Yes, they do license assistance. Kapag pasado ka sa instructor, di mo na kelangan magpractical exam sa lto kasi your instructor is vouching for you. In my case my instructor thought I wasn't ready so di niya ako nirecommend for license.

Is this for real? Or wala na? Ang sabi kasi ng Smart Driving School may sasama daw sakin sa LTO, but not sure kung kailangan ko din pumila gaya nung mga ibang nagapply or may "priority lane" sila dun.

If hindi ka nirecommend do you still able to get your license?

May schedule sila, like for example ang kitaan 7am. There are blogs sharing their experience in detail, Google is your friend

I have a car to practice with tsaka prior dun tinuruan nako ng kapatid ko. By the time I applied for a license, prepared nako.

I was dreading the practical exam but trust me, hindi ka dun dapat magworry. There are videos on YouTube about the practical exam in LTO East Ave. Practice the reverse parking. And maraming bumabagsak. Good thing is, you can review for it, the reviewers are on the LTO website. Don't just review the non-pro, reviewhin mo din professional and motorcycle kasi may kasamang questions.

You can skip all these and resort to dealing with a fixer. I don't suggest it. Ikaw din talo. May benefit yung pagpeprepare for getting a license, sa daan mas prepared ka na din.

Another thing to consider when buying a 2nd hand car.

Thanks sa insight and suggestions guys!

Nag-enroll ako noon sa Quick Drive. Maayos naman ang turo. Day 1 ko is magfamiliarize muna sa controls ng sasakyan. How to sit properly, adjust the rear view and side mirrors, proper handling of the steering wheel, etc.

No need to take na.

Good luck on the driving school. Don't just learn how to drive. Learn how be a responsible, defensive driver.

Not true for LTO East Ave.

One thing napansin ko, may chaperone yung isang aplikante. Napagkamalan ng guard na fixer, ininterview niya to make sure magkakilala.

Yes. For real and the cost for the "assistance" was incorporated in the tuition fees. My then gf got her license this way. I would have preferred the old fashioned legit way, but then again, her money.
