I took the online exam the night of Dec 31, and medical on Jan 3. I went to LTO on Jan. 4 to process and got my DL (10 years validity) after lunch time.

from what i understand,
the extension has not been rescinded,
even as plastic DLs are reportedly plentiful already.

If one traveling & would need a valid active license for rentals, LTO will prioritize. Show proof of airline booking.

i didn't know that.

all along i was under the impression that that privilege was cancelled when word got out that there would be a horde of donated dl plastics made available to all motorists.

^Nope, still no plastics, expired dl still valid up to the dates stipulated by lto in their August 2023 memo.

Renewed my license mid 2023 and I got a paper license. Nag-bakasakali ako kanina and there was a sign that said plastic cards not available. Buti na lang nagtanong yung cashier kung kelan ako nagrenew. Turns out that my card was already available. Precious to for 10 years.

Wala kasing notification sa LTMS if available na or papel pa din. Puro Pending lang ang transaction status. Ngayon Completed na finally ang status ng license renewal transaction ko.

this is the bottleneck in the renewal process you couldn't do the exam at home anymore so you gotta do it on site and there are only 3 computers

these 3 guys took like an hour. don't know what's taking them so long, if you don't know the answer then no amount of delaying will produce the answer. i think it took me like 2 mins to log in, answer 25 questions, log out. got 92%, still bummed that i didn't get perfect score

hindi na puede sa bahay mag-exam, then print the result???

not being familiar with the computer, can be a big cause of slowness.
a slow computer, is also a cause of slowness.
also, some questions tend to assume one's mastery of the language. one has to read it carefully, to understand what it was asking.

Di na pwede? Up pa rin ang link sa LTMS. I checked using my wife's account which is due for renewal next month. Didn't start the actual exam though baka magkaproblema.

yeah the link still works but you still gotta do the test on-site. new policy started aug29 of last year
