ako din usuallly I follow unless everyone else is already parked the other way.

    1. if it is wide, facing the wall
    2. if i just have to drive straight to enter the slot, facing the wall
    3. if it is diagonal, facing the wall

other than that, patalikod, kahit may sign

typical of Pinoy not to follow.

I park facing the wall because if i were in the shoes of the owner of the mall or bldg, i'd be pissed to see my walls dirty with smoke from cars when clearly, there's a sign that says to park facing the wall.

Parking opposite the wall would shoot the smoke and make the charcoal-particulates stick to the walls making it dirty and black and these can't be sucked out by the vents. (just in case you don't know).

nope. lalo na pagmahirap lumabas. abala din sa mga dumadaan, ilang atras-abante muna before you can go talaga. aside sa di naman ako nagbababad once i turned-on the engine, gas pati gamit ko kaya minimal lang yung black particle na didikit sa wall..

+1. Para paglabas eh diretso na kaagad. IMO, mas maganda at maayos ang park pag patalikod lalo na kung ang driveway parking ay masikip.

i usually park backward unless there's a sign 'facing a wall'. i find easy to maneuver parking backward.

no matter what style we park, we're still bound to do the reverse/forward motion to manouver anyways. so kung pagdating mo -patusok ang pasok mo sa parking, sa pag uwi mo nman -aatras ka rin para makalabas or vice versa.

i would say that it sometimes depend when it matters para sayo. sa case ko na usually nagmamadali sa ofc, pagdating ko sa parking ng bldg namin -patusok ako para baba na agad at di ako ma-late. by that time na uwian ko na, w/c usually by that time e hndi na gano hectic sa parking area, paatras nako which i can afford to take my own sweet time kasi di nako nagmamadali.

Nope. I like being able to get my vehicle out of where its parked faster. Besides, mall operators charge patrons for parking, as well as mall tenants for common usage area fees so they have enough to keep on cleaning or repainting these walls if necessary. Believe me, I've worked for a mall operator and it easily clears over Php 4-5 Million net on parking fees alone.

i prefer to park not facing the wall. mapapapark lang ako ng facing the wall pag hindi kaya ng paatras. depende pa rin sa situation ng parking area

Yup, it really depends on the situation and how much space there is in the parking lot.

Well ok just for the heck of it.

As much as possible I'd like to be facing out for obvious reasons but if I'm in a hurry I'd face anything just to get parking

Do you really park "facing the wall"
