to answer the question:
what's the sense of getting a commemorative plate kung hindi mo rin pala pwede gamitin?
pinagkaka-perahan kasi yan.. from the suppliers, to the middlemen pati mga promoters. one plate can only cost as much as 500php.. then sell it for 2,000 - 4,000php.. laki na agad tubo.

February 16th, 2009 07:39 PM #12your gonna show support nga by putting your commemorative plate but where are you going to place it kasi kailangan nakakabit paring yung regular plate mo. ayaw ko naman nung nasa top ng regular plate yung commemorative. magmumuka ka naman jeep nun. siyempre bonus na yung exemption from number coding. but what's bastos if it is legal? and why are you going to violate the rule if it is given. yun ay kung legal. eh kaso nga hindi yun legal. that's why i'm not doing it. and one thing for yebo. sa last sentence niya. dapat ata. "can you just follow the law like everyone else?"

February 16th, 2009 07:48 PM #13and i think commiting a violation due to number coding is not a crime. kaya lang naman may number coding is to lessen the number of cars in the street. wala akong sinaktan, pinatay, natapakan o kung ano man. walang kasbatosan dun. iba yun sa paggamit ng siren. pareparehas lang tayong nababastos pag nakapila ka sa traffic, then biglang may isang malaking sasakyan. using his/her siren para lang makalagpas sa traffic.

I will NOT be sheep and blindly follow stupid rules and laws that are clearly passed it's useful time.
IF you really want to demonstrate your willingness to follow ALL LAWS & RULES, then I suggest you start by following the old LTO speedlimit rules that has never been changed since the 1950s.
You can lead by example if you want.

February 2nd, 2011 07:13 PM #18I agree with OTEP MD. Some people collect these. Like me. And FYI. the LTO AO regarding these, is still enforced. No Independent Republic of Makati nor Las Pinas will dishonor that, correct me if i'm wrong.
