Di ko ramdam 'to kahit 12pm ako bumabyahe papasok work. Wala rin akong nakikitang enforcer from Pamplona to Zapote. O baka lusot ako dahil may friendster sticker?

    MMDA UPDATES NUMBER CODING SCHEME
The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), yesterday August 15, implemented their expanded Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP) to ease traffic congestion along main roads.
The expanded coding scheme prohibits vehicle license plates ending in 1 and 2 on Mondays, 3 and 4 on Tuesdays, 5 and 6 on Wednesdays, 7 and 8 on Thursdays, and 9 and 0 on Fridays from 7:00AM - 10:00AM and 5:00PM - 8:00PM along Alabang-Zapote Road.
In Las Piņas City, vehicles with Friendship stickers may opt to use Friendship routes within subdivisions.
According to their press release, vehicles exempted from the ban are public utility vehicles (including tricycles), transport network vehicle services, motorcycles, garbage trucks, fuel trucks, marked government vehicles, fire trucks, ambulances, marked media vehicles, and motor vehicles carrying essential and/or perishable goods.

"there is no such thing as a one-way street, to a garbage truck. no thing as coding, to a garbage truck. no thing as driver's license, to a garbage truck driver! the garbage truck parks where it may, and not get challenged at all."
for some strange reason, traffic enforcers would rather let go of a garbage truck pronto, than give him a citation ticket.
    heh heh.

    in our barangay,
i do not honk my horn, as the garbage truck holds up traffic, as it makes its rounds.
it knows how to park, naman, so's we might squeeze past.

    Quezon City Government Official Website

This is for Quezon City, about large wastes, tree branches etc. (click the "more details" below the Services)

Dati, alam ko was every sunday talaga dapat. But ngayon, looks like you need to make a formal request for collection of such. FYI.

So other LGUs most likely have something similar.

Yes it's bawal for a loooongggg time na. We used to make pausok our trees (burn dried leaves) It's supposed to make the trees healthier but I can't even remember the last time we did that.

nothing is more cost-effective in attracting good mango harvest, than a good siga!

in our neighborhood, a number of properties still sport trees.
    whenever someone makes siga,
    "... it's not me! it's the neighbor!"
they can't see from where the smoke is emanating.
even my own cow-sin, who lives nearby, can't.
    "dr. d, nagsisiga ba kayo?"
"hindi kami. si neighbor yun." (which is true. it wasn't us.)

our neighbors to our left and right both have mango trees. We used to have 2 mango trees in our backyard, planted on extreme left and right, what's funny e "naghahalikan" mango trees namin with our neighbors. I like our one neighbor's mango tree though, it's huge and reddish. Tastes like a cross between indian and carabao na ewan but I love it. One plus of no more siga e no more siga smelling sinampay. That is awful!

BTT: I don't use my car totally when it's coding day because the rules among cities are so confusing.
