Kung palit plate lang same letter and no. i think local fixers can handle it.
Kung palit no. talaga i think mahabang process

gusto kong palitan ng letters and numbers but with a choice of ending number, if possible.
thus, it can be any combination of letters and numbers. so hindi vanity plate ito but just your ordinary run of the mill plate number

AFAIK, you can surrender your current number plates along with your current O.R. and the title/ownership title. I think this process is done for really old cars or cars that the owner (for whatever reasons) will no longer need to use on the road so therefore the need for yearly registration will no longer be needed.
After this process, just re-register your car again, just like what the dealer did when you get a new car.

For those who have old plate #s and would want to update to the new jose rizal look, all you have to do is to submit an affidavit of loss and police report (i think) regarding the plate #'s to be replaced. Once LTO approves, make a payment and they will press you a new set of plate #'s.

July 21st, 2005 06:02 PM #28yup, mahirap ang change numbers but change plates to rizal with same number is easy..
twice ko na ginawa yan this year.
cost-
100 affidavit of loss
422 lto charges
so what i did recently is nag park ako mejo malayo sa lto, then remove both my plates para kapag chineck nila, wala talagang plates. then kabit uli after magbayad.

Habang naghihintay ka use your orig plates.
