Kung palit no. talaga i think mahabang process
gusto kong palitan ng letters and numbers but with a choice of ending number, if possible.
thus, it can be any combination of letters and numbers. so hindi vanity plate ito but just your ordinary run of the mill plate number

After this process, just re-register your car again, just like what the dealer did when you get a new car.

For those who have old plate #s and would want to update to the new jose rizal look, all you have to do is to submit an affidavit of loss and police report (i think) regarding the plate #'s to be replaced. Once LTO approves, make a payment and they will press you a new set of plate #'s.
yup, mahirap ang change numbers but change plates to rizal with same number is easy..
twice ko na ginawa yan this year.
cost-
100 affidavit of loss
422 lto charges
so what i did recently is nag park ako mejo malayo sa lto, then remove both my plates para kapag chineck nila, wala talagang plates. then kabit uli after magbayad.
Habang naghihintay ka use your orig plates.
Some cops and trafficc enforcers are well trained sa ganyan. Mostly TMGs and LTO flying creeps. But plano kasing ibenta so am looking at it as one of the selling point of z car. That is kung mura lang. Originally Posted by likot

Signature
yung sa june 05 jimny namin stainless or wait.. aluminum?
Hindi kasi tinatablan ng magnet eh hehehehehe
Pwede magpalit ng plate number if: a) the price is right or b) may kakilala kayong malakas sa LTO. My friend bought a 2nd hand 94' Accord with regular plates tapos pinapalitan nila ng special plates at no extra cost. Ninong niya kasi yung head ng LTO branch somewhere out there.
They should be able to spot that.Originally Posted by likot

so going back to the question: pwede ba mag-request ng change plate? para ma-iba lang yung ending.
however, when i checked sa LTO website, wala silang procedure for change of plates.
just to be sure, pumunta nga ako sa LTO makati at nagtanong at ang sabi ay you have to deal with LTO main office if i want to have my plates changed.
then, tinanong ko rin ang clerk doon (window 6) kung puede pa change ko nalang ang plate ko kasi gas gas na. aba ang sagot pa naman ay unless nawala yan, i cannot request for a new plate. hindi daw reason na gas gas na o discolored na ang plates mo para papalitan nila
sayang, it could have been a means for the LTO to raise legitimate revenues rin

but then again, yun iba talagang lumang luma na. paano kaya nangyari ito?![]()
Can this still be done? Have the same dilemma kasi with the thread starter, my two cars have same coding days. I recently acquired kasi the other one, and planned to replace the old one(sell & buy one with plate # having diff. coding day). Pero if the plate # can be replaced or if may permit sa MMDA, then most likely di ko na ibebenta yong isa.
Sa LTO naman, pag change of plate # mukhang malabo, based sa posts.
Any idea, anyone? Or anybody wanna swap with a 1998 316i with plate # other that '9' or '0'?
