Hi Guys,

What are the steps with regards to the renewal of one's Driver's License?

With all the new rules (like drug test) and all, I don't want to be a victim of a 'fixer' or swindler. :oops:

Go to the nearest LTO branch and bring your old expired license. Then get an application form and have it filled. Afterward have a drug test and Physical exam done by an LTO recognized medical unit. Marami po ito near the LTO branch. Bring the results together with the filled application form back to LTO and pay the fees. They will take your digital pic and signature. Wait for the relaese of your new temporary license and follow up the card license after 2-4 months. Goodluck.

same here in las pinas lto. just had my license renewed two weeks ago. one stop shop yung urine and physical. tapos issued na kaagad yung card license in one hour.

Lumipat na po ang LTO Mayon, nasa N. Roxas or Laong-laan street na po ito. Meron din LTO agency katabi ng Meralco sa Espanya.

yup, dapat nga renew ka before the deadline kasi may fine ata kung nde..

nakao! mga mgakano yun fine pag expired na tsaka ka lang magpapa-renew? out of town assignment kasi ako ngayon e. sa friday pa balik ko manila.

another question... pwede ba sa ibang branch ka magpa-renew ng license. napansin ko kasi matagal mashado sa main branch eh. inaabot ako almost the whole day. tapos matagal pa i-release yung card.

pwede kaya yun?

As I could still remember pwede kahit saang branch ng LTO magpe-renew. Kahit na gusto mo pa mag add ng license restrictions pwede rin gawin sa ibang branches.

Pwede pong magrenew with any brance kahit pa sa Jolo.

sa medical exam, bp- blood pressure, eye check, ear check. they'll ask ht. and wt. mo. sakin eye check, pinabasa lang yung mga letters e ang lapit naman. alang ginawang ear check. bp sira naman yung sphymanometer basta sabi normal. certified nga sila ng LTO kaya ganon yung trabaho. located sila at the back of east ave.

sa physical exam dba dapat nakahubad, tapos may stool test pa ata.

u cld save a few bucks and not pay the 350 pesos for medical and drugtest by juz goin' to a certified clinic w/o an escort. kasi dba dami sa pilot LTO sasamahan ka lang daw sa clinic actually may comission sila, around 150 bucks.

last 2000,nadelayed me magparenew ng almost a month, i did pay extra 30 bucks to renew my licence.
