TNVS is not Taxi in disguise if the concept of ridesharing will be insisted. They are private driven entity which is a premium option for the riding public.

Complaint mechanism may mapagsusumbungan real time para sa pasaway na drivers.

Pupunta sa tapat ng pin mo.

Mas mabango, malinis, moderno at bagong sasakyan.

    Pre arranged fare.

    supply and demand with dynamic

    at madamin pang iba.

This post is a well researched one.

original concept -- owner drives car

hindi ung kukuha ng 2 or more cars tapos mag hire ng driver

original concept -- car owner has real job and only shares his ride with people going in same direction and earns some gas money

hindi ung gagawin full time na hanapbuhay

original goal was to reduce car ownership

hindi ung lalo dumami bumili ng sasakyan para gawin negosyo

    the concept was bastardized

Agree. TNVS is taxi in disguise. Pinapasada eh.

Ride sharing is like carpooling. Driver goes to 1 place like office or house, picksup along the way.

TNVS ngayon, driver goes nowhere but to pickup and drop off passengers. Dami pa ex-taxi drivers. TNVS incentivices for more trips.

    Tapos tatransport holiday pa.

hindi mo na mababago ung na-bastardize na concept

nakatatak na sa utak ng mga tao full time hanapbuhay ang kumuha ng bagong sasakyan at ipinasok sa grab

the genie is out of the bottle and he ain't going back

Hindi po basta rinegulate. Dapat ang regulation will perfectly fit to the concept of the ridesharing.
TNVS are not public vehicles, they are private even in other countries. In the PH, the LTFRB constantly changes the rules and regulation.

Plus, there is no law for TNVS yet.
There is a lot of potential in this new technology that gives the most convenient mode of transportation that the governemnt or any private can offer.

    it's a limo service.
rates are based on distance as well as time.

but why did ltfrb allow itself (or did they lead it!) to segway from the original intended mechanism of ride-sharing?
i mean, it's so obvious, they should have been arrested.

You have to get it through your head. What grab allows in the philippines is not ride sharing, it is a taxi service.

If you bought a new car, just so you can 'grab', how is it ride 'share'?

If your intention is to have grab be the main source of income then it is not ride sharing.

It is a taxi service here, plain and simple. And if that is the case, it should be regulated as such.

You are trying to bypass the law by claiming it be ride share when majority of grab operators and drivers are not doing ride sharing along their routes to their normal work.

So you also cant blame the government when they try tp regulate it as a taxi service which is what it really is.

You complain about the bank requirement, when you clearly loaned the car for private use and are now using it commercially. Does that make sense? Apply the car loan for commercial application, as intended. If that is still not given clearance by the bank, then i can see you complain as there will be merit.
