1st LTO renewal after 3 yr registration

Hello po.

My unit was bought May 2017, LTO-registered for 3 years.
Ending conduction number is 8.
No assigned plate number.

Bale kelan po magiging due for registration unit ko?
August 2019 or August 2020?

I thought May 2020 dapat iparenew na? Then you just have to pay the additional June July months, para next annual renewal mo na will start august 2021 na.

I guess your right na May 2020 dapat pag wala pang assigned plate number based on sir WallyWest's link.

Below are the guidelines for the renewal of registration for 2018 of motor vehicles initially registered in CY 2015 (with three-year registration) which have not been issued license plates:

UNITS WITH "VIRTUAL" PLATES ISSUED

In accordance with the existing LTO Rules on the renewal of registration, as determined by the last and middle digit of the "virtual" plate issued.

UNITS WITHOUT "VIRTUAL" PLATES ISSUED

Renewal of registration for 2018 shall be on the same month indicated in the Original Receipt (OR) of Payment of its initial registration in 2015.

a couple of years ago, when i tried to renew my then-three-year-old car's LTO for the first time, i was informed by the emissions guy, that they can't upload my result, as my car was not yet in the system. now, that was strange, as my metal number plates were already bolted to the car for everyone to read.
i had to go to the LTO in araneta, to ask them to upload it.

i hope they have since streamlined their service.

Does your car have a plate no. assigned on the CR sir?

I have my assigned plate, so i know when to have it registered.

Process? Same as you register your any other car. Go to LTO, smoke test, ctpl, pila sa counter, that's it.

Had a similar experience kay doc, Oct 2015 yung akin so nagrenew ako Sep 2018, pede naman kasi a month ahead.
Pinasok muna sa system nila yung virtual plate na binigay ko.
Other than the emissions test, pati yung CTPL hindi papasok sa LTO system.
Since andun nako dapat sa pagsubmit nalang ng docs at intay magbayad, nagkanda labo labo na kami sa steps, inintay ko muna maencode yung plates sa system, after nun tumawag ako sa insurance broker ko para sa CTPL para isubmit nila sa system ng LTO yung policy ko, at the same time sinabi ko rin sa emission to do the same. Once confirmed na ok si ctpl at emissions, submit docs at wait to pay na.

I did all of that sa sucat, sa olivarez plaza. Mga 30 minutes delay dinagdag sakin nung pagencode ng plates. Set ka appointment sa online portal nila para mas mabilis pagrenew mo.

Bale una dapat maipasok sa system nila yung plaka, kelangan istencil yung oto dahil dito. Then yung regular procedure steps of renewal na.

Pwede naman mag renew sa ibang LTO branch diba? Field Office shows Makati, sa FTI Taguig plan ko mag renew. So the key is dapat maipasok muna sa system nila yung plate no. para less hassle.

Same here, got numbers only of my renewal late last year (after the initial 3 years)....

Makes me wonder if I'll get the ending number "I requested for..."...

Oh? Akala ko para sa 1st 3yrs lang yan. Dun kasi sa how-to video sa youtube, yung pic ng sticker may nakalagay na 3 years, e.g. 2016-2019.

Diba dapat ACP palang kapag nakuha sasakyan sa august 2016 pero binigay sakin na plaka DCP na pero nakalagay naman sa OR ko ay ACP

Kaka renew ko lang ng registration ng Innova 2015 namin

Share ko mga experiences ko at mga dapat gawin and requirements sa renewal.

Kung bago sasakyan nyo at kaka-lapse lang ng 3 years free LTO from casa. Bigyan ko kayo scenario nangyari sa sasakyan namin.

Our car purchased last October 2014. So in 3 years October 2017 dapat renewal. Pero nataon na yung nareceive naming plaka is A**-***3 (Means March renewal mo) Mangyayari lang nyan renewal of MVUC lang. Half ng MVUC mo. Pero you still need CTPL. NO SMOKE EMISSION po since additional lang po ang classification ng oto namin.

Here's the breakdown of our registration/renewal last March of 2017:

CTPL - 1,200 (In house nakuha since baguhan ako sa pagpaparehistro ng sasakyan. Pwede ka makakuha ng CTPL outside.)
MVUC - 1,000 (Innova's MVUC fee is 2000)

Total: 2,200

Then ito na March of 2018 nagka penalty kami. Dahil April 2018 kami nakapag register.

May additional process na. First get your CTPL. Eto I learned my lesson na. Mahal talaga kuha namin ng CTPL noon. Then I also learned that SM Malls offering CTPL care of Pioneer insurance. The price? Huh? 608 pesos for passenger car. And 658 pesos for Light Vehicles. Pumasok ang Innova sa 658 pesos. Then after that Smoke Emission na. The price for this is 550 pesos (depending syempre kung saang LTO area ka nagpaparegister. In my case sa Calamba branch ako. Sa loobang part mejo may kamahalan pero kapag along the highway cheaper siya ng 100 pesos. Not bad right?) Then after non stencil na. Then bayad na sa cashier. Dito na ako nagulat.

Here's the breakdown of our registration/renewal last April of 2018:

CTPL : 658
Emission : 550
MVUC : 2,300 (With change venue. +100 from Lipa to Calamba branch)
Penalty : 1,000 (Half of the MVUC)

Total : 4,508

Lesson learned: May corresponding date and weeks po ang pagpapa register. Pwede kang advance ng 2 weeks before registration date pero penalty ka kapag late registration ka kahit weeks lang.

Middle digit ang basehan

1, 2, 3 - 1st day up to 7th day
4, 5, 6 - 8th day up to 14th day
7, 8 - 15th up to 21st day
9, 0 - 22nd up to the last day of the Month

For example:
AXA - 5532

You need to register between 1st and 7th day of the month of February. Gets?

Penalty:
A week late - 200 pesos
A month late - 1,000 pesos

Q: Eh paano kung 9,0 and middle digit mo? Anong penalty if late registration ka?
A: 1,000 po. Kasi a Month late na registration mo.

1. Cebuana Lhuillier - FPG insurance - 608 pesos
Requirements:
Photocopy of ORCR (Dapat indicated na ang plate number)
If hindi nakapangalan sa name mo ang sasakyan. Bring the ID of the owner at the same time your ID. For verification
2. SM Malls - Pioneer insurance - 610 pesos for passenger car, 658 for light vehicles hindi ko na alam yung iba [emoji23]
