the new gen fort might come out sometime later next year so the price might be even lower by that time. so it will depend on how soon you want to sell vs. the price you can realistically get.

I want to sell asap but in no rush to deal with buy and sellers.

Ask ko lang po, we have 2010 Toyota Fortuner, ngayon lang po ako nagkakameron ng kaalaman sa mga sasakyan eh, tulad ng sa change oil at yung tamang oil na gagamitin (thanks sa tsikot.com).

Ano po yung pwedeng impact pag hindi agad napalitan yung oil?
Tiningnan ko po kasi yung service passport ng Fort namin at nung nakita ko, nagulat ako na mula nung 1k PMS eh sa 15k PMS na pala dinala ng father ko sa casa. Walang change ng oil filter between 5k kms. Nung tinanong ko father ko sabi nya eh good for 15k daw yung oil as per casa.

Wala naman po ako napapansin na sira sa Fort namin ngayon pero in the long run, mag kakaepekto po ba yung hindi agad pagpalit ng oil?

Nung 15k PMS nasa breakdown na nagperform sila ng flushing. Ibig po ba sabihin nito eh malinis na yung engine especially sa pwedeng sludge na naform dahil sa hindi agad pagpalit ng oil?

19,+++ km pa lang po natatakbo. At ngayon po na mejo may alam na ko sa pagpalit ng oil eh plan ko gamitin delo 400 every 5k kms PMS. TIA

No you don't need to change the oil filter every 5K. Fully synthetic motor oil is rated at 15,000 to 16,000 km. Change the oil filter when you change the oil.

As far as pwede mangyari kapag hindi pinalitan ang oil, pwede mag breakdown ang oil. The engine may seize due to friction. Very rare for a Toyota.

Save your money and the environment. Follow the manufacturer's (not casa aka dealer) oil change interval. Even the type of oil to use is stated.

Say no to additives.

Sino po nakapag-20k kms PMS na? How much po ang damage pag sa casa?

May major na po ba gagawin sa 20k PMS ie., palit AC filter, Air filter, etc. o palit lang ng oil at oil filter to? TIA

Sir, yung D4d engine (non-VNT) kailangan pa din ba ng cooldown bago patayin ang makina o yung mga 3.0 lang saka yung mga equipped ng VNT yung kailangan ng cool down?

I just want to know which of the 2 variant will be "Bang for the Bucks" between the 2015 2.5L G which is the entry level for automatic tranny or the 2015 2.5L V variant. budget is around 1.5M. I'm planning to buy it next year feb or march and this will be my first car.

and also which petrol company would you suggest with their diesel would be best for the Fortuner

unioil lang ata. seaoil is ok din but not euro 4 they just use additives. STP ata partner nila

D ko pa na try unioil (wala kse malapit sa amin).. pero sea oil gamit ko.. ok naman.. maganda response ng makina.. euro 3 ata gasolina nila plus additives na stp..

dati petron xcs ako kaso tumutupi yung makina kaya nagpalit ako at d na ako babalik sa petron xcs..

have you considered the entry level for D4D AT... the E variant? it lists for 1.062M, sans discount.
yes, i like the V also, but do all Vs have two cap'n's chairs in the 2nd row? sayang yung one passenger... i also like the bench seat, because it offers throw-ability of my things in the second row... something i may not be able to wantonly do if there's a chasm in between..
