Kung parang kalderong nag babanggaan yan, check the rubber stopper sa hood. Ganyan din sakin dati. Nasira ulo ko until i tried adjusting it.

thanks sir. na-suggest na nga din po yan sa isang thread for stripped down fortuner. i will definitely check that when i get my unit from the casa today.

thanks sir. saan pala casa un? i called the SA yesterday and sabi naman daw ng technician eh ok ang brake pedal bushing. pero i will still request that they show me if pwede.

weird nga po pero share ko na rin. sabi sa akin ng SA, papa-test drive daw nila ako ng bnew unit para ma-compare. first, i thought, di ba nila naisip na bnew nga un unit ko. so if meron agad ganun sound when it was released, i should have readily brought it back. Second, are they implying that Toyota will spend in R&D for NVH reduction tapos ganun ang product result.

maybe its the air bag system in the passenger side. that happened to our innova

thanks sir. i will make sure to note that when i bring my unit back to a casa. i brought my unit home last Saturday from TMB kasi wala naman sila magawa. pati ang repair personnel nila who test drove my unit consistently mentions his opinion na "marami talaga sir ganito ang problema, meron innova, meron hilux or hiace"...

really weird but i cant really do anything. so hanap na lang ng casa na magagaling ang mga repair personnel. one reason din siguro is as mentioned in another thread na dealer lang ang TMB, not directly undet TMPI. so they might be hesitant to complete warranty repairs - kasi sabi nila i-rer-request pa daw sa TMPI to send folks to check the unit and that may take quite a while.

thanks again and more suggestions po sana for better SAs and their dealerships. More power!

You will see the pedal's attachment to the booster. IIRC, nandoon ang screw that needs to be tightened a bit. You can wiggle the pedal while inspecting so you can also see how much play there is. please know that you should not tighten too much kasi may effect sya sa braking feel ng pedal. HTH. More power to Fort owners!

Pressed by Top Gear Philippines editor-in-chief Vernon B. Sarne if a new Fortuner or Hilux model (revised or all-new) isn't coming to the market soon, Sugata said it's definitely not happening within the year.

    So there you go.

yeah saw that, now the current vehicle is over 8years old....surprisingly still selling well...no reason for Toyota to rush and build newer model....fact of life....

Fortuner first came out in 2nd quarter 2005. It will be ten years next year. Expect something by next year or early 2016.

If my memory serves me correctly, Sorry to say that I don't think the Fortuner first came out in 2nd quarter 2005 instead of earlier than 2005. I remembered the fortuner sells like a hot cake in the local market nearly a decade ago. pls do correct me if I'm wrong here...
