Anybody has done the reverse camera installation on DIY? Pls share...

    Thanks in advance..

I did a research; Connected the 3rd wire (red) of the video cable on the positive line of reverse light, and tapped the other end of the 3rd line of video cable on the head unit's green cable labeled 'reverse'. Now, I have a reverse camera working and also installed GPS antenna...total damage 12500php for 2 items, yay!

Hello, want to ask what spare tire lock are you using. May recommended ba kayo na thickness or brand?

Tumingin nga ako sa olx kanina. Meron rin palang nabibili sa Toyota. I think the thieves are carrying a bolt cutter when they did the heist.

Also yung kalso ng spare tire, may provision sya para sa padlock, use that too.

    my opinion.
i get the cheap ones from the mall... sa motorcycle accessories.
no sense in getting the most expensive one, because a decent bolt cutter can cut them both easy.
these locks are simply deterrents.. i make sure mine is very visible. when they see it hanging under, they in all likellihood, will skip my vehicle and go to another one without such lock hanging under..

    but i am curious...
how many of you out there, got your spare tire stolen despite the chain and lock? did the bad guy cut the chain, or did he distruncate the lock?

well, you can do what i did, after mine was stolen.
i got an old revo steel rim and fitted it with a non-new but still serviceable tire. even without the lock, they didn't bother me again... even after 10 years...

I am using the thickest chain that I was able to source from a hardware store, with padlocks... Plus, an after market spare tyre lock... So far it is still there....

Yes, the black rims and tyres of the Fortuner are a fortune.... So there goes...

Thanks. Nakakuha na ako ng police report. Will buy aftermarket lock and thick chain.

Good option din yung steel rim.
