    I've seen a lot of Vios taxis that are running around with their hoods open lately.

    Better air flow? :D Misaligned Hood?

    Pag sira nga yung release ng current gen vios (where it doesnt pop up after releasing the latch), mahirap nga ibukas so i guess the cabbies choose to keep it open.

    baka nabangga na.. at hindi na masara nang maayos.. kaya parating nakabukas na lang.. or baka prone na sa over heat.. kaya every now and then nilalagyan nang tubig.. kaya di na nila sinasara..

    Ang dami na eh. Halos 50% of the Vioses here in MM. Nakabukas ng ganun, mula sa EDSA up to E.Rod hanggang sa Makati, laging ganun.

    Di naman siguro ganung karami kaagad yung nasirang vioses ? :dunno:

    Unlikely its because of overheating... NZ engines have been around for many many years yan din engine ng old Vios... Maybe may bagong style among taxis... A Jejemon kung baga!

    mas maraming cold air na manggagaling sa labas dahil hindi lang sa radiator papasok ang hangin. and mas madali mag escape ang heat. sounds silly but it works with the heat today.

    and yup, mas malamig ang aircon lalo na kung umaandar ang sasakyan.
