I don't own a VIOS.
Whaaaaat? 9k? Huwag na!
Mas mahal pa sa mga alarm sa labas ah. :hysterical:
Was canvassing at Banawe (Toyorama) for some parts we'll replace during the 80,000km service of the Vios (1.3E m/t).
Fuel filter: P 5,140 (OEM)/P 1,200 (replacement)
Serpentine Belt (Bando): P 500
Airfilter: P 820 (OEM)/P 250 (replacement)
Anong brand nung replacement? Baka naman meron mas mura pero maganda naman quality.
Spoke with Toyota Shaw earlier:
Air filter: P 948.16 (P820 * Toyorama)
Fuel Filter: P 6,046 (P5,140 * Toyorama)
Gear Oil: 301.45/L (manual transmission)
Toyota Long Life Coolant: P 296.06 (2L bottle)
I forgot to ask about the OEM serpentine belt though.
Ang mahal talaga ng fuel filter. What i find strange also is they told me iba daw yung fuel filter ng later model ng Gen Vios (ours is one of the 2nd gen 1.3E, bought in July 2007). I was first quoted P 4,939 then they changed it to a different part worth P 6,046...
Anong klaseng fuel filter yan? Yan ba yung parang kasama na ng fuel pump kaya mahal?
Fuel filter kasi ng Hyundai CRDi ko 1,200 lang sa Casa, napamahal pa ako sa Seiring mga walanghiyang yun.
It's a big-a$$ piece of plastic. Labo lang na mas mahal ang later version. Upgrade? Materials?

^^^^^ .... That's strange! Sabi ng SA sa Toyota Makati, hindi na raw pinapalitan ang fuel filter sa new Vios (2009 - up)
