Mga Sir need your advice ulit, galing po ako Toyota kaninang umaga, it seems that my front and rear shocks needs to be replaced after 5 years. 2014 Vios 1.3E po ang unit ko.

My problem is they quoted me around 24k for the shocks wala pang kasamang labor. I would not tell na lang kung saang Toyota Service center ito basta andito sa Mindanao po.

Saan kaya pwede bumili ng replacement shock absorber na para sa Vios 2014 1.3E M/T? At anong brand po ba ang maganda?

why replace them, po? are they symptomatic?

i replace my shocks when they need to be replaced.
i do not replace them because they are over 5 years old.

my non-vios' shocks were replaced on its 8th (or is it 9th?) year, because the car was already dribbling after a hump.
my son drives it over smooth and rough roads alike, as if his tail was on fire.
i am confident, if i were the sole driver, them shocks would be over 10 years old and still be good.

bottomline, i don't believe in pms for shocks.

My vios when moving from 0-30kph, how do I say this? Medyo gumiwang-giwang, nag co-complain si misis para daw siyang nahihilo at bumalik bigla ang migraine. I thought it was the tires that were the culprit dahil mag 5 years na din pero makapal pa becoz the car's odo is still at 9+k.

So when I bring the car sa toyota for some check-up, may tama na daw yung left front shock at right rear shock, but I really need to replace them four :-(.

Sir, you have to replace your stock muffler.
- Meron muffler na tahimik sa idle at sumisigaw na pag inarangkada mo.
- Meron din kahit idle, maingay ma tunog...
- also, meron din 120kph ang tunog pero ang takbo nasa 20kph lang...

you can visit any reputable mufflershop... they can give what you desire for your muffler sound...

I hope na upgrade mo na din ang headers and intake para swabe na pag upgrade ng exhaust ng sasakyan mo...

Just want to know feedbacks from anyone who had them installed. Like project car(s).

No plans for me personally. I Don’t have the dough.

But I guess you’re right, it’s not worth it.

guys ask lang po. regarding the vios 1.3 xe.
1. side mirror manual puwede ba palitan nang auto motorized mirror.
2. head unit 7 inch. wala gamit kasi. i want to change any idea kung ano ang maganda.
3. wheel stock installed 14 steel rims. plan to change ano mas ayus na e palit 15 or 16.
4. alam nyo ba san naka lagay ang fuse box nang vios xe. need lang to know para sa mga add on na e kabit.
5. anong obd ba ang puwede sa vios xe saka san ang obd port location.

sorry dami tanong. bagong car kasi first car namin to kaya nangangapa pa.

1. puede siguro. you just have to find the required replacement pieces. do not forget the buttons to be installed in-dash or under-dash. banawe should know. of course, casa has. but we all know, casa prices are ...in orbit. but it is probably the most headache-free.
2. what do you mean, po? baka naman, hindi lang kayo marunong gamitin ang mga features nito ?

4. nasa owner's manual, siguro. all my cars' manuals show where mine are.

yung sa side mirror hassle kasi pang nag adust pag si wife ang nag drive adjust for her din pag ako naman adjust again.
yung sa head unit for now fm lang ang nagagamit. walang gps navi. sobrang basic tas mag weblink ka for link the phone para maka gamit ka nang waze. kaso need to have net. ill see what options i will have to make.

I'm planning to install a dashcam on my 2016 (3rd gen) vios via fuse box. However, I cannot locate where it is. Appreciate your help, tips, videos, anything. Thanks.

yung din ang tanong ko. sabi nila nasa loob daw nang compartment sa harap nang passenger seat. yung iba naman sa driver side daw tangalin daw yung dashboard cover nandun daw ang fuse box.

Tiningnan ko na kase dati sa likod ng compartment. Walang fuse box dun. Di ko rin nman alam kung pano tanggalin yung dashboard cover.

i don't vios.
but in my altis, the manual has diagram on where the fusebox is.
what it did not say, was that it was so difficult to get at.
