I'm cruising inside the villamor airbase at 30kph according to my speedo, pero sabi nung speed sensor nila, 26-27kph lang yung speed. I know na hindi ganun ka-accurate yung speedometer natin pero i didn't expect na ganun kalaki yung discrepancy. Siguro dahil nagpalit ako ng 15s at calibrated yung speedometer ko for 14s.

Mga Sir, para kasing tumutope ung auto ko on its 3rd gear sa 1st, 2nd & 4th okay naman usually sa 3rd ko siya naririnig. Nitro or xcs usually gamit ko na gas I interchanged it pero ganon pa din. Wala naman problem sa hatak malakas naman. I am suspecting sa oil kasi when I checked it lampas siya sa normal, does it make sense na oil kaya problem baka sobrang dami or any other things? Does anyone experience this? TIA

Light tope is normal. It's in the user manual. Kahit matic may tope at around 60kph. On my car it's more noticeable when I'm using XCS.
we have the same problem yung tipong at 3rd gear tapos papasok pa lang ng 2k rpm.
sabi sa akin ng SA Ricky Basto of Toyota Bicutan dinedescribe ko pa lang problem sabi niya hindi tope iyun and tope malakas. tipong parang tik-tik-tik tik na mabilis.
according to Ricky of Toyota Bicutan it is the cat.con. that is purging the carbon.
Still observing this on our Gen 1 Vios, but on our Jimny, nagkakatope pag Petron unleaded ang gas. Switched to Shell V-Power and the tope problem disappeared. Switched down from V-Power to FuelSave and the problem has not returned. Sayang, mura pa naman sa ofc pump station ang Petron fuel, pero no thanks na lang...
Same experience Sir. 3rd and 5th gear nagtotope(60kph 2K RPM and 130kph 4K RPM). As in takatak. They say, it is normal, nasa owner's manual ang knocking. But getting an engine knock due to fuel is different. Nagpapalit-palit din ako ng gas, para masubukan kung octane rating problem. Fuel Quality pala... Kulay diesel ang supposedly FuelSave ko. They emptied the tank and cleaned it. Kinargahan ng FuelSave na galing sa supplier nila...
Nawala ang Fuel Knock sa 3rd gear. Yung sa more than 100, madalang na. Dahil na raw yun sa carbon sa chamber. It should be gone after a few full tanks. May cleaning agent din sana ang gasoline natin. Kaso, may nabibilan talaga ng sobrang duming gasolina.
Ngayon, kung magfulltank ako, nagpapalagay muna ako sa isang bottle ng sample, bago ko ideretso sa tank. Matrabaho, pero sobrang nadala na ako... It could destroy your fuel filter, fuel injector and engine as well.
Sana, may magnarrate dito ng issue na nahandle ng Toyota Plaridel. 80K nagastos, dahil sa Fuel Quality issue. Bayad daw si Gas station.![]()

Just thinking how about ung nagcacatless when replacing their muffler, does iy harm the engine kapag ganun set up kaya? Plan ko din kasi magpalit ng muff...

Sir yung catcon po after ng exhaust manifold, parang ang nadidinig mo sa gitna medyo baba ng gauge cluster. hehehe. muffler lang po daw ung nasa likod. sabi ni Sir Ricky, i also thought na ung catcon nasa may bandang muffler sa likod.
Ako nga sir nataranata minsa. nakakinta ako tapos mga 60kph ang takbo ko yung biglang nag--tiktititiktiktiktik ng mabilis. halos huminto ako sa skyway sa sobrang kaba. pero weird kasi nun nagrelease ako gn accelerator meron pa din onti. kaya satisfied naman ako sa explanation ng SA sa Toyota Bicutan na catcon un.
