    Fuelsave na. Sabi ni JohnM accdg sa manual normal lang kumatok ng konti during hard acceleration. No issues naman ako sa FS except for medyo maingay ang tunog ng makina. Kagabi pag uwi ko pinansin ko tunog ng makina, mas tahimik na. Baka dahil sa Nitro+.

    Hehehehe, ako mainit or hindi always fullblast yung AC ko and number 2 sometimes 3 lagi.

    IMHO, it is better and i think the fuel consumption would not be affected that much especially di naman laging traffic ang ruta ko. hehehehe ulit.

    Better because:

    (1) the engagement of A/C will not be impacted by different RPM so the refrigerant will be always present in the system even during abrupt acceleration making it less stressful sa Compressor, Evaporator and Condenser Side. Imagine sudden pressure surge up to maximum of more or less 275PSI (condenser side, AFAIK) if you are at around 2K RPM.

    (2) In A/C design, the compressor will be better taken cared of din kasi hindi superheated masyado refrigerant pagdating the compressor unlike sa naka minimum to half on a very hot afternoon na yung cabin temp ay mainit pa din and the desired comfort cooling is not reached throughout the driving.

    (3) Fan speed at 2 or higher will produce more moisture that will likely flush out any dirt in the evaporator side or the drain pan - meaning less ang chances na magkamolds or anumang amoy. Naiiwasan din po pala nito yung build up ng bara sa evaporator kasi nga instead na dumikit sa coil eh ibabato ng fan or matutunaw ng condensate sa fins.

    (4) ang pinakaimportante eh mas mabilis lumamig ang cabin at syempre comfortable ka sa cooling system mo - eto naman talaga reason ng pagkakagawa sa kanya eh. syempre, kung malamig na cabin mo at malamig na din nahihigop ng AC mo then the compressor is producing less work.

    Binababa ko lang po temp ng A/C or speed ng blower kung malamig na at hindi na ako comfortable sa lamig nya.

    By the way, this is just an opinion and i do not want to contradict or battle technically any other members of this forum. IMHO lang po ito mga paps, bakit hindi nyo itry.

    Wild thought: Ano kaya itsura ng Vios na rally setup? :hysterical:

    Mudflaps, meaty tires, hella foglamps and all those things.

    I mean, SX4s look ridiculously clean on rally setups. Sa Vios kaya... Hahaha.

    Ganyan din yung gap sa akin. Noong galing sa casa kaya kahit may gap sa pagitan ng mga daliri.

    Kaso sumasayad sa ibang speed bumps yung akin.

    Ano ba weight ng kanang paa mo. Ako masaya na pag umabot ng 55-60kms isang bar

    Bro kapag Full tank ba kayo sagad or automatic lang? Ako kasi palaging sagad to the brim eh, tapos ang FC ko umabot ng 115kms for the first bar which I assumed 7.5liters siguro yun so nasa 15.33km/li ako. Usually ilang liters kaya ang first bar kung sagad to the brim ang gas? Kasi ang average FC ko eh nasa 15km/li using the full tank method although province naman kasi kaya nasa 80% highway and 20% traffic stop & go lang. In my experience never ko pa nakuha 18km/li na sabi ng iba every full tank yun.

    Boss mas maganda yata kung automatic lang yung pag full tank or if ever like in my case lagi sya nagfall on 34.++ liters kaya pinapasagad ko lang sa 35 Liters. at least pag nagblink agad yung last bar which is time a signal to full tank again, so i can truly compute for my FC based on my regular "usage" medyo misleading po kasi kung per trip kasi po IMHO ibaiba driving conditions mo per day at road scenario so for me mas wise kung average regular use FC computation. Tapos you also base your FC sa bar baka lang po magkamali kayo ng computation at pag assess ng totoong FC nyo.

    BTW mga sir mag feedback lang po sa shell FS unleadead 91RON, after having a full tank last Friday April 19, 2013 on my way home and about around 361km on my ODO sakto sya kasi kakapark ko alng din sa basement namin ngayon nun bumaba sya eh, i still have 1 bar left. so i think mas ok sa akin ang shell kasi if my estimate is correct i have about 12kpl FC dito highest compared to the following:

    Phoenix 93RON: 11.3 kpl
    Caltex Silver 93RON: 11.48 kpl

    Well i hope makuha ko kahit 12.25kpl na FC hindi pa naman po tapos ang FT to FT method ko eh. heheheheh. by the way, aircon always full either number 2 or number 3 kasi tanghali po ako lagi pumapasok sa office kaya sobrang init. tsaka po master of cramming ako kaya medyo hataw mode pero mababaw lang ang tapak ko lagi sa gas change gear atleast every 2.5k~3krpm.

    Ako naman laging ganyan sobrang consistent. sana maabot ko yung mga 80k per bar tulad ng iba.

    Automatic bro., para mas accurate (daw!) kung pwede same station and same pump.. kung kaya same time of the day din daw magpakarga.

    Nung bumyahe ako ng probinsya before using Shell FS, average speed ko nuon mga 100kph lang then konting pitik to 120kph naka-kuha ako ng 18.5km/L, FT to FT din yun.

    Pero nung mga recent trips ko sa province, average nalang ako usually ng 14-16km/L. Average speed siguro nasa 140kph-150kph...

    Nung pumitik ako ng 170 before ayun bagsak ng 12km/L yung FC hahaha

    AC level depende sa weather. Kapag mainit dos, kapag swabe lang level 1 lang.

    Sana nga ganyan din ako, consistent na double digit ang FC. Kahapon lang bumaba first bar ko sa 44.3kms. Wayup. :hysterical:

    Sige Bro, next time try ko ang automatic. Although mejo accurate na din yung 15km/li ko based sa experience mo dito sa province. Actually half nga lang din AC ko pero #2 ang fan, shift din ako 2.5-3K rpm. Sarap talaga sa province sulit ang FC,

    Humahataw hataw din ako no. Minsan 3k+ rpm shifting kapag oovertake. Ewan ko nga kung bat ang tipid ngayon hehe. Dumating din naman ako sa point na 40+ kms pa lang bumababa na 1 bar ko. Di ko rin alam kung nasa langis hehe 15w40 nga oil ko ngayon at mag 10k kms na. Dati nung magaan paa ko nasa 55-60kms/bar pero ngayong medyo "mabigat" para mag reach agad sa 60-70kph cruising speed, mas tumipid na sya.

    Malalaman ko kung totoong matipid nga once mag FT to FT method na ako. Puro by bars kasi computation ko ngayon hehe.
