feeling ko normal lang rattling kasi mga clips talaga ng dash lumuluwag..

plus the kind of materials na ginagamit ngayon sa mga dash, magra-rattle talaga. di tulad ng mga older cars na bolted ang mga dash components at hindi puro snap-on.

but wala naman rattling kapag patag un daan e.. mabwisit talaga tayo if yun rattling kahit na spalto e umiingay hehe..

pero me remedy ba dito? un totally nawala talaga? share naman para hindi na dalhin sa casa.. kasi kung tatangalin yun dash e dibale na lang titiisin k na lang hehe mamaya me madali pa un mga taga casa e..

found a temporary fix to my rattling problems. kelangan lang hawakan ng mahigpit yung upper and lower part ng glove compartment dun sa bandang bukasan.

Uhm... increase the volume of your stereo? Hehe... joke lang. May nabasa ako dito noon na nilagyan ng styro yung parang panel gap sa may steering wheel at dashboard. Paki-backread na lang po kasi nakalimutan ko na kung ano yun exactly...

Try using "Silicone Bump-ons" , it come is different sizes and thickness. You can get these at home depots.

They are clear and sturdy rattle solvers than styros.

sir kafph2000, any luck on our brake pedal rattle? tingin ko this rattle might be mistaken by some as the "steering column" rattle that have also been reported and thus, not that uncommon.

Bro, nothing new about the rattle. I think it's still there. But almost forgot about it already because I'm on vacation for the past few weeks.
Nasa garahe lang auto. hehehe Kung lumabas man, short trips lang.
Ayaw ko naman ipilit sa casa at baka lumala pa.

hmm, I've read about the steering column before. I think it's a different case from ours. Nagrarattle ata yung plastic cover which I already removed before but still no effect. hehehe

kasi whenever i change gear at approximately 1800rpm, tumataas ang rev ko pag inaapakan ko yung clutch to like 2200 rpm. alam nyo po ba kung bakit ganun? sorry po mejo magulo..

Baka dahil DBW din ang Altis. Ganyan din sa Vios namin. May "naiiwang" rev kada magcchange gear ako.

off topic po. Napansin ko kahapon ang 2005 altis automatic ko mabigat ang batak. ang usual ko na dapat 40kph na, sa odo is mga 20kph pa rin. Akala ko flat ako, hindi naman. ang sabi ng officemate ko, baka daw atf ang problema. what do you think po? anyone?

Anyone of you here has the melting dashboard issue of the 10th gen Altis?

Toyota will replace it free of charge, as there is a silent recall on this.

I had my 2009 1.6V's dashboard replaced after I sent them photos and an appeal letter. Approval came after a month, and the car was bright to the selling dealer for replacement.

ganyan din sakin kung minsan...pag apak sa clutch tataas ung rev. tas parang may whizling or uggong sound pag accelerate ka. di b dapat baba ung rev pag clutch mo? totally release naman yung acceleratorpedal ko...btw 2013 altis.

Mine too, actually even from 3rd gear going to Neutral, nagiging erratic yung aking RPM it goes up and down until you went to a full stop or kapag nakapasok na sa ibang gear and release the clutch. I am having my unit serviced at TOYOTA and I am still waiting for their response, I hope it's nothing serious 'though. I have complained as well regarding the rattling or vibrating sound on my dashboard and B pillar.
