Nasira yung Front Passenger na door lock ko 2004 1.8mt . Pina check ko sa shop sabi sira na daw yung pinaka motor/actuator nung lock kaso di daw pwede yung mga binebenta nila na replacement actuator dapat daw yung orig bilhin ko. How much kaya to and kung may nagpalit na ba

hi.. Im having a lil problem with our rav4... Im not sure if meron na bang nakaencounter ng problem na ito..

Sa left rear wheel, madalas pag nakastop ako or mabagal ang takbo may sound na malakas as in para kang nabump na tumutunog, para bang spring na naipit na narelease.. Im not sure kung anu siya, its not the brakes kasi nakafull depress ang brakes ko tumutunog siya, naka angat or nakababa ang hand brake tumutunog din.. Pero hindi siya palagi.. Minsan malakas minsan mahina..

Please give me some idea kung anu to.. Before ako pumunta ng casa, i think mahirap to itrouble shoot pag lift ng sasakyan

ang problema ay wala sa suspension o brakes. The loud noise comes from your gas tank expanding. Kasi nagcontract ito so pag bilang expand may loud noise. Ang cause ay in the air out and air in tubes sa may gas tank o sa may fuel injection. Pag barado ang air in and gas has to flow your tank will contract. Hope you got it.

Na encounter ko din to nakahinto na ko at nakapatay na makina may narinig pa din akong malakas na sound. Binuksan ko yung gas cap malakas na whooshing sound yung tunog. Usually mahina lang yung tunog pag binuksan yung gas cap.

I'm a rav4 gen2 newbie owner. here's the thing, magiisang taon na nasa akin ung rav4 na nabili namin 2nd hand (actually 3rd hand na), ngaun, may kalampag na ung sa front pagnapapadaan sa lubak, mas malutong ung kalampag nia sa left, driver side - pinaayus ko sa isang underchassis mechanic, nawala pero after a while, meron ulit - pinarepack ko ung cv joint, inayus ang stabilizer, anti rollbar link, sway bar link, ball joint at caliper pero meron pa rin. tanung ko po mga masters, anu pa po kaya cause nung kalampag? thank you po!

i'm shooting in the dark...
shock tower bushings and/or bolts.
and the other rubber bushings downstairs.
and the steering rod ends, hiding inside the rubber boots.

Hi guys. Sorry for reviving this thread.

I've been a lurker in this forum for years and I've just decided to create my account to interact and to know more about my car.

I'm currently driving a 2002 Toyota Rav4 with 123,000 km. The car runs great but as I read articles from the internet I found out that Rav4s that were made from 2001-2003 has a possibility of having an ECM problem that eventually will destroy the transmission.

I called a Toyota dealer and they quoted me 83k for a brand new computer box (ordered from Japan) and 3k for labor.

I would like to ask my fellow Tsikoteers if they have experienced this issue and if there is an alternative like a shop from Banawe. Hoping for your responses. Thank you!

Yes, unfortunately that is an.ongoing issue for that model Ravie.

I used to have Gen 3 version and was a member of the Facebook page for many owners here in Pimas.

You should request membership so the guys there can advise you. They're a helpful group.

Look for Alex Pascua, he's one of the recommended mechanics there.

I'll also ask around when I go to Banawe this Saturday while they change my transmission, transfer case and differential fluids.
