Hi im Ingrid, this is my first post. After lurking for sometime, i found my car -- Thanks to this forum! Last Friday, i drove my Graphite RAV4 home.

Hope to read a lot of reviews/problems that might come my way.

btw somebody dun sa bigberts (sorry d ko siya kilala) told me na yung dye pala ng side panel yung namumuti? naexperience nyo ba to? yung parang madumi yung blue side panel niyo? kala ko kasi pawis eh hehe

pissword, that whitening of the sidings happens to our rav too. wala lang, tuwing namumuti, i just pump it with turtle wax upholstery cleaner.

First Question: Where can I get good quality seat covers? Got free seat covers and floor mats kse from my dealer. The floormats i can live with it okay lang, yung seat cover lang talaga im bothered. Any good leads and yung price range din?

The stock Alphine HU, hindi ko pa masyadong nakakalikot yung EQ, so baka pwede pa mag-improve yung sound or pwede ring yung speakers ang ayusin whatever.

Otherwise, im happy i chose the RAV over the Ford Escape.

Ingwid, you can install an amp and a pair of separates to improve frontal imaging.

On the seatcovers, maraming available diyan. prices are from 1500 up depending on material.

Its good that you got the 2004, with gray sidings..... damn i wish i had those.... ayoko nung blue e.

Even luckier still are those with a limited batch of Kelseats Leather seats, sidings, steering whell and knob. but 1990 lang ata yun.

panget nga yun free seat cover ng casa hehehe... even yun plastic type bag that comes with the manual, ndi maganda hehehe. buti pa cr-v it comes with free leather book for the manuals at may payong pa.

if you're interested, i'm selling my leatherette seat covers. yun nga lang baka hindi match sa interior mo since its gray. i think the new color scheme of the 04's are black right?

Eclipse pa rin ba yun stock HU ng 04's?

Ang type ko RAV4 edition was the Rav4 J edition... di ba orig leather interior and may kenwood screens and video stuff inside? Sayang, di ko inabutan yun...

okay will try to look for seat covers. hindi ko lang po talaga alam where to start looking.

i dont really stay much inside the car, so the sound system for now is okay.

actually yung nakalagay na seat cover is color gray, bagay naman sa interiors.

in terms of fuel efficiency, ilang kms per liter po ba ang 4x4 2L?

ok din yan ah! halos same color ba nung CR-V ashton silver? uso na grey shade ngayon ah ala gunmetal.


tumaas na pala price no? 1Million na daw 4x2? pati CR-V 4x2 1M+ na din!

ako trip ko yung blue interior! ganda na rin yun parang custom interior! di ko lang trip yung grey overall plastic... madumihin din in the long run.

Yung sa 2k4 all black plastic na and black upholstery. bagay sya dun sa black rav4. as for the silver rav4 sana blue na lang yung upholstery namin. tara swap tayo? hehe

IMHO since black naman seats ng rav4 i would prefer to have no seat covers at all. ganda kase nung quality ng seats parang neoprene. Pangit kase sa generic seat covers natatakpan yung ring headrest na sporty pa naman design.

Interior detail lang katapat nyan sa Bigberts every 1 or 2 yrs :D

really?! tumass na prices ng RAV4? How much na yun 4x4? Aabot na 1.3M? Eh di parang no effect din yun excise tax ...

di ko sure sa 4x4.. naPM sa akin ni pepengtom tumaas na daw price ng 4x2. oo nga parang few months lang ok yung binaba na price tapos increase nanaman ulit as the months go by probably caused by peso inflation na rin

Ingwid, my bro got the same color 4x4. The Alpine-2 din stereo is not bad, but you should see how awful the speakers are. Full range made of cardboard! Please go to Cardo818's Sound Domain website for a look! The best fuel consumption I got was 6.3 km/l. I myself got the 4x2 version silver. It's fuel consumption came out 8.5 km/l. I like the RAV 4 because of its more carlike feel with a console and levers on the center...

the 4wd rav4 sells for around 1.2M right now. while the 2wd rav4 sells for around 1.09M.

pierre, mas trip ko yung 2004 na gray sidings, pero da best pa rin yung leather.

cardo, i think the leather interior is an add-on pa to the J Series. Ang alam ko blue interior pa rin yung J (Tama ba John?) But merong labas na stock RAV4 na naka all leather.... part of a promo back in 2000.

PK, yung J series ko is blue/gray interior. with a 1-DIN stereo.

Ang alam ko sa unang batch ng J series is naka 2-DIN stereo sila. Naglalabas sila ng J series yata kapag medyo matamlay ang bentahan ng Rav4. Hehehe...
